I’ve given it a few run throughs so far and It’s a bit of a struggle to pinpoint any standout tracks. It all continues to blur into one average/passable piece of music.

Having said that, I’m beginning to enjoy bad thing a bit more. Not quite sure what the bunny hop addition is for mind?!

I've stayed quiet on this album (largely because I've had a busy weekend) but wanna get my thoughts out there for nobody else but myself lol.

I don't hate or dislike the album at all. However, after the first listen I did find it pretty underwhelming, despite liking some of the production flares on some of the tracks. Hence why I didn't comment about it until I'd heard it more than once. I'm a few listens into it now and I still feel quite "neutral" towards it tbh. It's an odd one because I feel like it's a mix of her 3 best albums for me 'thank u, next', 'eternal sunshine' with flares of 'Dangerous Woman' sprinkled throughout (3 near perfect albums, imo), but it's almost like it's mashing up together the weaker links of those albums (and minus the powerhouse vocals).

'hate that i made you love me' was the right choice as lead as I do think it represents the album very well (and I felt similarly towards that song as I do with this as an album). I like it, but it's not really one I go out of my way to listen to.

It's not all doom and gloom for my post though. Because I do think it has some nice songs on here 'kiss me', 'oh well', 'nowhere, nobody' and (my absolute highlight) 'bad thing (bunny hop)' - this is SOOOOO good. Would love for that to get a push!

Does the middle 8 in 'big feelings' remind anyone else of Tinashe 'Bet'?

But yeah on the whole it's a nice enough album that doesn't seem to be growing or even not growing. It's just... there. But it's a nice "there".

kiss me and bad thing (bunny hop) are definitely my main two favourites across the whole album but stay and nowhere nobody are fast growing and freak as well is one that I go back too one of the most interesting things that she’s done.

I’m intrigued to see where this ends up overall. eternal sunshine’s now my favourite from her (but that also grew and grew…!) I think the way her production is now and lyrically speaking the songs take time to fully develop but once you get it, you get it!

I am obsessed with it. I have it on repeat without getting bored of it which is rare. I don't care for Freak as much but the rest I adore.

I've listened to the album quite a lot now so here's my ranking at the moment:

01 nowhere, nobody - "hard to believe in a perfect ending" yet out here delivering the perfect closer x

02 oh well

03 freak

04 hate that i made you love me

06 like i do - think this peaked on first listen while 'freak' and 'kiss me' have been slow burners, but still infectious

At the moment I think it'd sit as my 5th favourite Ariana album after: Dangerous Woman, thank u, next, eternal sunshine and sweetener - the highs are high and I love her talent for dreamy vocal stacking once again, although the whole project didn't grab me as much as eternal sunshine lyrically and melodically.

Shall see what grows though as my favourites have been shifting a little since I last posted thoughts!

Yeah this has been a big grower for me! Kiss Me, Nowhere, Nobody and Stay are my highlights, but the others are growing on me too.
