I have a bad feeling about this era for some reason, the album title is a bit cringe - but I have mostly enjoyed both of her other albums so fingers crossed I am worrying about nothing and she can come with some good songs again x

(although I have found most of her 'angry rock songs' to be ~not her best~ so actually kind of hoping it'll be a slower song as the lead x)

"drop dead" is indeed the title, which is stylised in lower case.

I can see it starting off as a piano ballad before shifting to a. Ore rockier style half way through/towards the end.

It could be her first angry rock lead single, which would be the first time Olivia has released an angsty lead single.

Not what I expected for a lead at all, but new wave vibes make sense for her evolution to me. I do like it but I’m not GAGGED like I expected to be, I think it will be a grower as it’s more subtle than you expect for a big lead single.

Yeah, this is basically my take on it. I like the sonic shift and I think it's a good song but it's not wow like 'Vampire' was. But it definitely sounds like a grower and there's no doubt it will do well for her. Not sure about a number one debut though?

Yeah this did nothing for me... but then I think barring 1 song i've found most of her output a bit meh

I dont hate it, and was just starting to get into it when it finished , think this ones gonna be a grower for me , doesnt feel like a huge lead single on first listen though
