I did it a couple of times then for 2024 they were like „oh you owe us money“ so I deleted the draft form and never submitted it and they’ve never said shit about the missing returns for 2024 and 2025

France doesn’t extend the date automatically if they don’t reply before the expiry date? In Germany it counts as long as you emailed before the permit runs out.

It gets extended for 3 months apparently as long as your dossier is submitted but this is not necessarily universally understood. And also there are 101 departments and they kinda all do their own thing.

We’ve just sent our first vetoes, and with that, I would like to enforce a rule that we’ve agreed on as mods:

If you are to re-confirm after the deadline, then you must not send anything released after the deadline, in the interest of fairness to the other participants who weren’t able to select an entry released after the deadline.

That's totally fair, surprised no such hard rule was previously in place.
