April 15Apr 15 I boycott for one year and this forum has started diving into MADNESS by claiming Vanilla Ninja’s song in a bop and Finland doesn’t SEEM BIG.ARE YOU ALL NET*NYAHU FANBOTS?
April 15Apr 15 (Although I have not listened to any song in full apart from Felicia so far and was fed recaps and reviews by third-party Youtubers x)

Its sounds like a couple who would appear on Bargain Hunt Edited April 15Apr 15 by ElectroBoy
April 15Apr 15 Vanilla Ninja is catchy and we’re in a millennial nostalgia cycle, the Kelly and Katy late 00s pop rock sound is coming back around. I’m expecting a Q!I do think it will flop in the final though, the title is cringey, it won’t be jury bait, public score would be low in the final. No real way it does well after the semis.Cool Vibes still sounds fresher and it’s now legally able to drink in the US. Edited April 15Apr 15 by gooddelta
April 15Apr 15 I don’t see any song with massive televote potential except Israel, Greece, and Moldova. Yes, Moldova with some hey ho lets go folklore and rock'nroll' in 2022 they were second right after Ukraine in televote, so I’m preparing for a strong televote for them again this year. I think Finland will have a decent televote but not a huge one. Overall, the winner is hard to predict because we don’t know who the juries will bring down, so in that kind of calculation, whoever ends up emerging as the winner is the winner.France and Australia, and especially France, will be a big televote flop.I also think people are sleeping on Czechia, because in audio this song has the strongest winner vibes. Right now, nobody really has an idea how it will look live, so we need to wait for the Czech performance to see. If it’s excellent vocally and in terms of staging, it could become a jury winner, and even an overall winner contender. Edited April 15Apr 15 by Nine And ¾
April 15Apr 15 Finland is really good as a live performance and I'd be very happy to see them win, but I do feel like it could under-perform compared to the odds in the same way Erika did.Greece I've not been on board with, it veers too much into annoying territory. Going for the Kaarija/Joost/Tommy Cash kinda vote, but I've not seen anywhere near as much love. Though they all had stronger competition, so you never know...I think Delta could absolutely smash the jury vote for Australia, and it's just a case of whether she can manage at least 150 points from the televote and if that would be enough to win overall if the vote is spread out enough/we get a winning total similar to JJ. My heart will be in my mouth for the televote result if she happens to have won the jury.4 hours ago, Iz様 🌟 said:I feel the Israel effect will be lesser this year if only because those people have been quieter since Iran. But it's a better song on paper than the last two years so could easily be in there, that's what they're hoping for at least. Also that many of the rest don't sound like huge hits, or at least have something about them that might penalise them.if I were betting, Israel is probably the smart bettor's choice but idk if I want to do that.See, I think this is the worst Israel entry since 2024. It also feels like it's trying to play up to the conflict less compared to the past two years (but that could just be because I don't understand the lyrics and am not inclined to look up the translation). Not that I think song quality will have that much sway in the result they get, I'm worried that they could win by default just because of how open a year it feels and there doesn't seem to be a consensus for anything else, plus the boycott movement is stronger this year (not that an anti-vote could be cast).2 hours ago, Nine And ¾ said:I also think people are sleeping on Czechia, because in audio this song has the strongest winner vibes. April 16Apr 16 Greece is my fave of the 10 or so entries I've heard thus far and it's definitely more along the lines of Europapa.
Friday at 14:163 days I feel like this year is way more open than people think. There’s no obvious runaway winner, and a lot will depend on how things translate live. Finland for example feels very “moment-based” – if the staging hits, it could do really well, but I can also see it underperforming slightly with juries.Greece is interesting because it could pick up a strong televote, but I’m not fully convinced it has the broad appeal needed to win overall.Right now it feels like one of those years where a strong live performance could completely change the odds.
Sunday at 22:501 day Im glad there is no obvious runaway winner as it stands as it makes more exciting but i agree on Greece i think it could do very well in the televote and sadly i think this is where Australia may struggle but hopefully people will connect with Delta and get her a decent televote.
