May 27May 27 Salina daylight robbery was not on my bingo card, I’m such a huge Crystal stan and her runway was incredible but Salina and Aura were top 2 for me, the right top 2 if we judge in pairs though.
May 29May 29 Was kinda holding off watching this season as was doing a RuWatch of older seasons/ seasons I hadn’t watched, but caved in last night and watched the first bracket.Really enjoyed it! Dawn just ate every challenge and so happy that she made it to the semi’s! I watched Season 16 a month ago for the first time and she was a stand out in a kinda unlikeable cast. She really slayed every challenge and just has a fun energy. From the others, Morphine had some bad luck in this run of episodes, particularly in the first episode and being overlooked for MVQ points. Loved her relationship with Dawn though and how she had her back in the last points session to see her through! Mystique wasn’t exactly a glow-up. Fun to see her again, but her runways were so basic.It was good to see more of Lucky and her runways were good, but she just seemed lack in the challenges.Morgan came to slay and really I think deserved to qualify over A’Keria. May 29May 29 Watching the first ep of the 2nd bracket; Love April! can she sing; nope! but she gave a great performance. Plus so hot out of drag!I loved Crystal on Series 12, but Salina and Aura were definitely the top 2 and Aura defo won that lipsync. I think the extra arms and legs basically won it for Crystal when she swung them early doors and made Ru laugh. Even if you take the runaway and challenge into account, Salina and Aura were a clear top 2; Crystal's was a fun idea, but the other 2 looked amazing. Vivacious was basically a robot during her performance - good to have her back though.
May 30May 30 Great 2nd episode for Bracket 2. I would've had Salina in the top 2 though, I thought she was the best with either Crystal or Silky with her. I was a little worried for Silky in the lip sync but when she did the costume change and pulled out the fabric and started twirling it was so great and she timed blocking Crystal's moves with it so well a couple time I thought April & Aura did well too. Vivacious was OK but I was expecting a little more - particularly the runway after last week!
May 30May 30 One last thing to add about bracket 1; had Morgan not given A'keria her MVQ point after challenge 2 then she probably would've advanced ahead of her as there wouldn't have been a tie.
May 30May 30 I’m very tired of Silky at this point, she sucks out all of the air from the room. I know it’s her thing but it’s just not for me. Hopefully she doesn’t get any more points and it’s good news that next week is a makeover. I really doubt she can pull it off given her track record.
May 30May 30 This bracket is a bit meh for me, Crystal is so obviously light years ahead of the crop. Salina has stepped it up but I’m not arsed, Vivacious is obv iconic but is giving nothing, April is cute just out of her depth, and Aura is… present.I agreed with the top 2 this time, but I only really found Crystal did anything exciting. That was so on brand, the surreal vibe, whereas the others pretty much did Drag Race advert 101.Also I like Silky but she’s just such a huge personality I find she’s a lot in this kind of format, with only 6 queens the other barely get a word in. I just don’t know why she had to come back when she kind of peaked on CanVTW, there’s nothing more to prove other then maybe that nobody watched that season lmfao.

June 1Jun 1 Crystal is absolutely killing it in ways where Ginger had holes last season - I do think the latter deserved to qualify although winning definitely not, still bitter about a non-Bosco/Irene top 2. But Crystal is really showing how she’s a girl who can do it all and her drag is so up my street, and she’s such a sweetheart, it’s impossible not to root for her.I’m also really coming around to Aura, again she’s really sweet and not as bad as others make her out to be. She still seems to lack a bit of confidence and needs a bit of a boost rather than going into a challenge preparing to lose.

June 1Jun 1 The worst thing about the bracket format is a normal 2 or 3 wins ends up with the idiot one brain cell fanbase saying a new queen every bracket is pushed it’s obviously going to seem more dominant when it’s 3 episodes and only 6 queens, plus like… you’ve put Crystal Methyd against the likes of Aura Mayari ofc she’s going to dog walk them lmfao. But say Ginger getting 4 wins, that’s normal in a normal season, it just obviously seems more inflated when it’s a season that’s condensed in this way.
