14 hours ago14 hr Kenny not keeping his vote for Sharon to be banished was stupid, them not killing Michael while no eyes were on them was stupid, it really did lead the path to give Michael more thinking time and to build a case against the traitors and no matter what now, Maya is ruined whether she keeps him around or kills him. Kenny could potentially slip through the cracks and make it to end game, but without Maya, he doesn’t have any solid enough allies. Keeping Joanne would have also helped as she was clearly never going to get onto them and would probably have been banished tonight instead. My jaw hit the floor when James A caved!! I don’t blame him as it’s not the role he asked for and while he did a good enough job, the walls were closing in and he’s not good at covering his tracks. But he is an absolute sweetheart.I think Bash and Leigh-Anne will make it to end game now - either Michael, James B or Romesh would be by far the most logical kill here, depends how much they want to go for broke on the former and try and salvage a double bluff narrative. Whether Bash/Leigh-Anne, as well as whoever else survive the murder, win or lose will all come down to if Kenny has strong enough allies or if anyone else does anything particularly shady to warrant banishment.Joanne’s traitor reveal reaction on Uncloaked was the best EVER
13 hours ago13 hr This season just isn't hitting at all. Nothing really is going to save it either. The traitors have made such bad decisions all along that I have no desire for them to win.The faithful are IDIOTS, randomly making up theories with no substance. Michael saying "let's look at people we haven't looked at"... okay when did they look at you? I do feel bad for Maya because she started with a traitor who willingly confessed within moments then picked someone she had no clue REALLY didn't want to be a traitor and has done nothing to help her to the point of self eliminating themselves? What an absolute shame.
13 hours ago13 hr I remember last years finale felt like MASSIVE event TV. This time around? I just kinda want it over. A real shame.
13 hours ago13 hr Just now, Jαsє said:I remember last years finale felt like MASSIVE event TV. This time around? I just kinda want it over. A real shame.Honestly, one of the best episodes of anything i've ever watched, if not at least the most anticipated. It was absolutely thrilling and entertaining. I am just gutted it's not given me anything at all this season, from the second the traitors were picked, the most obvious choices to now. Sigh.

A real shame. An average of 12M people in the UK are watching it. It's absolutely massive event TV. Everyone is talking about it.I will say though that last year had WAY more pop culture 'moments' and memes/quotes spawning from it. Celia's fart, her wailing at the well, 'put the pussy in it', Alan murdering her, Alan laughing during the 'I am a faithful' line, Alan and Jonathan's banter before they found out they were Traitors, 'MAYBE SOMEONE'S BEEN RECRUITEDDDDDDDD', 'flabbergasted' etc are still popping up on social media with huge engagement a year later.I really can't think of anything from this series besides maybe Miranda dancing to Touch for a few seconds and even that is a stretch.
13 hours ago13 hr The +7 ratings of each episode so far have been 15m or more, higher than the most viewed world cup match! It really is event TV and that's pretty inarguable I'd say, no other regular TV show is getting ratings anywhere near.Series 1 set SUCH a high bar, let's not forget! I've loved this series too, just a bit less than last year, and it doesn't help that Stephen and Rachel played such a blinder in the civilian version this year too, it's making these traitors look a little amateurish. That said, I truly don't know how the finale's going to unfold. I think Maya's screwed either way but Kenny could have a chance of winning. That said, I think I'm team faithful for possibly the first time ever - Michael and James B really redeemed themselves tonight, and I've enjoyed Bash and Romesh throughout too.As for James A, I wasn't totally wowed by his strategy all along. Sure, act like a faithful, not a bad idea, but that doesn't have to apply 100% of the time. Not even removing the blindfold during the chapel mission was crazy! I think him throwing the towel in tonight says a lot of good stuff about his character, but not a load of good things about him as a traitor. I wouldn't like to see it again but fair enough, he'd obviously hit a wall where he just couldn't see any other route out.
13 hours ago13 hr Joanne got banished???? That was a brutal play but it makes so much sense why that was a cliffhanger now.Sharon getting murdered is a very interesting play but she was so checked out that I don't mind her getting taken out.James A quitting was a shock but thats absolutely pointing them in Maya and Kenny’s direction. We love you Acaster, a true legend.Kenny saying “as a traitor myself” and Bash clocking that has absolutely screwed over him, Maya is probably gonna get caught out too.
12 hours ago12 hr The traitors fumbled so bad this episode. Why on earth murder Sharon when Michael was right there!!! Maya really didn’t do a great job at defending herself. Not sure I liked the way James A gave himself up as basically confirmed that Michael/James B are faithful and that Maya/Kenny were the one to spray the perfume.I’m rooting for Romesh, Leigh-Anne and Bash to win now!
12 hours ago12 hr i feel like they are still gonna get ONE of James Blunt or Leigh-Anne out to be certain on it. But yea this has instantly become a faithful win and i'm super surprised by it icl.
12 hours ago12 hr That was a needed episode. James A never wanted to be a traitor and it must be really hard to play that role if your heart isn’t in it. I’m glad there was actual heat on the traitors today because they’ve had too easy a ride and have been mistakenly labelled as great traitors but look at the crumbling today. Maya I think is actually lucky James A confessed because she was so poor at defending herself I was almost sure she’d be gone. I do think the only traitor that could win now is Kenny but I guess it depends on who’s murdered tomorrow.

This show really is incredible and I REALLY hope tomorrow has an exciting ending and we can continue to push out a civilian and celebrity series every year to commercial and critical success before the downfall starts!Regarding James A's decision tonight I do see how many fans could be irritated and think he ruined the game and was a waste of a Traitor spot but I on the other hand found him oddly fascinating (had no idea who he was before) and really enjoyed seeing someone having to play a role they clearly did not want and battling the morality that comes with it. He clearly wasn't comfortable and was going to crumble at the first sign of suspicion but him straight up admitting it before anyone even voted was jaw dropping TV and ultimately it's stuff like that which is more important for the show as a whole - remember it's a TV show first and foremost.I really don’t think this episode saved it from that trajectory at all, in fact it solidified this series as the worst yet and I think could really damage the show going forward.I trace it all back to them only picking 2 traitors initially and then the seemingly unlimited recruitments handed out to people who didn’t even want to be traitors. This series has just been a non-starter for me
11 hours ago11 hr Surely from all the media pre=show, this episode played out differently? Wonder if James A had a total breakdown in the roundtable before he then just flat out said he was a traitor.Personally I've enjoyed the civillian series way more than the celebrity ones. Even last season, there's no jepordy really and it's far more comedic. But this can happen with series, sometimes the cast doesn;t work out how you want it to. I don't think it helps that people know each other before the show either, it takes some of the tension away and there's no secret relationships like in the normal series. The game tends to be much simplier too, so it relies on the cast more. I think the initial traitor choices were fairly poor. Generally all the best series has a great traitor or traitors and I'm not sure we've had that this series. James played the reluctant traitor well, but when someone is ruthless and cold.. that's always the best TV!
11 hours ago11 hr Maya screwed up at the breakfast table as well saying let's get to killing, I mean banishment. Then Kenny going as a traitor myself. With James revealing the library was where Ross was killed, how can it not lead the faithfuls to the traitors now Edited 11 hours ago11 hr by Henessy Lake
5 hours ago5 hr The traitors completely shot themselves in the foot in this episode. Kenny changing his vote to banish Joanne, then the traitors going ahead and murdering Sharon anyway, when they could have banished her and murdered Michael, who has gone on to effectively find them out.I don't see either Maya or Kenny getting out of this - aside from yesterday's slip-ups, Kenny's theory on Bash visiting to the bar during the plain sight murder has been debunked. It's been an entertaining series but just feels a bit of an anticlimax for the traitors to crumble like this after being under so little suspicion before.
5 hours ago5 hr What a twist!I'm conflicted about James Acaster. Could he not have refused recruitment? It felt like he was sabotaging the traitors' efforts. In hindsight, I'm sure Maya wishes they chose Amol, and he would have been wonderful (but would have been banished soon anyway!)Anything can happen at this stage. But we are no longer guaranteed a traitor win!Romesh loving the moaning challenge yesterday was a vibe! Edited 4 hours ago4 hr by zigazigaah
4 hours ago4 hr Its an odd one, as the Faithful's weren't that bad up to Hannah's banishment, and really the Traitors were bad to that point. The Faithfuls got 2 Traitors very early on... but then the Traitors just recruited and recruited again. If anything, they should've just left Richard and Hannah in play to weaken the Traitors going forward. In fact it would be good if they introduced a recruitment rule, that you could only recruit once unless there is 1 Traitor left in which case you HAD to recruit. The one good thing James/ Maya did was recruit Kenny, and they did manage to go under the radar for a few episodes. However, Maya and Kenny then just sat back and I think they should've just cut James loose before he could inflict any damage on them. But they didn't and just carried on in the background - which is fine until the Faithful start looking elsewhere and piece things together. Had Maya and Kenny ousted James just after the killing in plain sight, then the whole perfume theory would've been put to bed without any real heat going on either of them. Its been an odd series tbh, but I would prefer a Faithful win at this stage. It just doesn't feel like the Traitors have done enough all series to really warrant a win, particularly in comparison to last year/ this years civilian series . Cat and Jonathan were great and revelled in being Traitors - ably setting things up. Alan was fantastic and whilst it was comedy gold, he too relished in being a Traitor and made for great TV.I wouldn't say this series has been a failure, but it has felt like it could/ should've been more, and not really helped by some poor Traitor picks. James A in particular has been a fairly big disappointment... and I say that as someone who's loved him in other shows/ doing Off-Menu etc.
4 hours ago4 hr I really want Maya to fall now, she's basically just cruised through it and is now getting a bit silly when it comes to defending herself. That James A thing completely had my hand in my mouth 🥲
3 hours ago3 hr I also think there needs to be a major overhaul in terms of the challenges for next season. It was pretty much established from Season 1 that the viewers saw challenges as a chance to go to the bathroom or to scroll on their phones but I've never saw so many complaints about them until this year. They really need to start intertwining the overall Traitors game into them and get rid of the endless 'one group runs around a forest collecting stuff while the other group waits for them to be in communication' type tasks and start incorporating challenges that stir up the paranoia and drama between players. It's no surprise that the one challenge this year - with the blindfolds - where Traitors were actually involved in sabotaging was the one that got the most acclaim from viewers.I appreciate they're limited with what they can do in terms of location but after seeing four civilian seasons, two celebrity seasons and three/four USA seasons (also set in the Scottish castle) people are getting sick of seeing the church with the masks, the hut with the haunted sound effects and the building-a-giant-explosive-by-the-lake stuff. It's a strange show in that so many people are GLUED to the screen for the start and finish of the episode and then not giving a shit about the middle part.
3 hours ago3 hr Yeah the tasks are the most boring part of the episode a lot of the time. They can be funny sometimes but not that riveting
