With regards to the multiformat debate that comes up every single time with Taylor, I think with physical stock it is fair game. Nearly every artist does it so I have grown to accept that it is part of the charts and keeping physical media alive right now. What I don't agree with is the changing of release dates to suit the charts just because they're all chart obsessives here.

Now what I have a big issue with is the exclusive digital variants. How can an iTunes download be exclusive and limited and only available for a certain period of time? Only available for 24 HOURS!!!1 because I won't need the sales from next Friday!!1 is just pure manipulation of fans' dedication by demanding them to spend money at a time that suits the artist rather than when suits the fan. Yes, they could just not buy it, but also many fans want to buy it, so being forced to buy it in a certain time when surely an online item can be available forever, seems ludicrous. That's where I draw the line on what should be allowed and not allowed.

In relation to Taylor I’d say probably 80% won’t ever be listened to! They are even marketed as Collectors. All CD’s sold out at around the same time so I’m sure most people purchased all 3.

Again its bad cos Taylor did it but when other artists like Harry styles etc does it its perfectly fine honestly more proof of the double standards on here 🤣🤣

I really like a Taylor Swift solo song for the 1st time since Midnights. I will be rooting for this to go number 1.

Its not top tier for me yet but only listened to it once and she sounds so good. Just wish the chorus had a bit more punch to it.

Not commenting on the overall post but this bit "Answer quickly" had me laughing so much 😂🤣

Really strong song, the bridge melody is so lovely and love the use of harmonica. It's quite understated compared to her recent releases so hopefully it will do well and stick after the first day. The film exposure is bound to set it up for longevity I guess.
