Official Charts Report

The all-star pop link-up between Madonna and Sabrina Carpenter on Bring Your Love looks for a debut inside the Top 20 (14).

Lifted from Madonna’s upcoming album Confessions II, the track gives big 90’s energy and was recently debuted during Sab’s Coachella set last month.

If all remains the same, it would clinch a milestone 70th Top 20 accolade for Madonna. Can Bring Your Love hold on for glory?

There could be strong elevation for Zara Larsson’s Midnight Sun, which is tracking to scale 14 spots and break the Top 10 for the very first time, while also securing a brand-new peak (5). This is partly thanks to the release of Midnight Sun: Girls Trip, a remix record which reworks the original LP with the help of a plethora of pop stars including PinkPantheress and Madison Beer.

After returning to the chart offerings on Friday, Michael Jackson may find Billie Jean dancing its way back into the Top 10, with the track sitting at Number 9 in this First Look update. Beat It also looks to follow suit, also on course to move four (18).

Alex Warren could be the highest new entry this week, with his latest single, FINE PLACE TO DIE (10). As a result, Fever Dream could equal its personal best position, with the track currently up two places (3).

There could be a huge jump for Prospa and Cloonee’s banger Free Your Mind, with a 12-place exertion into the Top 20 possibly on the cards (20).

Talk To You from ANOTR and 54 Ultra are also on for a new peak, with a significant elevation in their sights (24).

Can Los Angeles singer STELLA LEFTY, who made a big impression on the most recent Official Trending Chart, bag a first Top 40 with Boston? (35).

Elsewhere, Justin Bieber’s Baby aims to re-enter the standings after its first main chart appearance in 16 years last week (36), as Bebe Rexha and Faithless’ New Religion eyes a maiden Top 40 entry (40).

I'm intrigued to see how Mel C's gonna do. I quite liked the album when I listened to it today but I don't know what the general consensus seems to be on it.

She’s really going for the #1 - she has 9 signings and 8 shows this week plus lots of formats and they are selling download lanyards at her signings too.

Highest charting solo Spice album is #4 if I'm not mistaken? Which I think more than one of them has achieved.

So she has that to beat at least!

Hoping for the first Spice Girls solo number 1 for Mel C.

Also hoping for a decent debut for Madonna/Sabrina 🤞

Are you telling me that no solo Spice album has ever been top 3? Seriously?!

Yep!

Just looked it up; Northern Star, Schizophonic and A Girl Like Me all made #4 (of course Northern Star being by far and away the biggest seller)

Victoria's highest is #10, and Mel B's a lofty #28.

I wouldmt ve so sure having huge amount of variants doesnt guarantee huge sales, and as good as the album is i wouldnt say Mel Cs has the level of fanbase of a Kylie Minogue that would lap them all up

Plus her variant releases are messy as some arnt even available in the UK

Praying Kacey snatches her first #1 here - they’ve just added signed prints to each format on her UK site.

I think Mel will be a real challenge though - 12 shows and 8 signings is massive plus I’ve seen posts from fans with all the formats.

Melanie said at a gig last night "I've sold more with this album than I have done in decades"!

Melanie's first week sales:

30,876 - Reason (#5 in March 2003)

17,773 - Northern Star (#10 in October 1999) [eventually peaked at #4 in August 2000]

8,970 - Beautiful Intentions (#24 in April 2005)

7,265 - Melanie C (#8 in October 2020)

4,500 (estimate) - This Time (#57 in April 2007)

4,084 - Version of Me (#25 in October 2016)

3,735 - The Sea (#45 in September 2011)

2,326 - Stages (#50 in September 2012)

10,000+ would be wonderful for her and surely enough for Top 5.

Also looked back on Kacey's first week sales:

8,341 - Deeper Well (#3 in March 2024)
7,284 - Pageant Material (#11 in June 2015)
7,001 - Star-Crossed (#10 in September 2021)
6,376 - Golden Hour (#6 in April 2018)
2,634 - Same Trailer Different Park (#39 in April 2013)
