That's about right for Alex Warren's new one, it's nowhere near as strong as 'Fever Dream' so I knew it wouldn't debut that high. It'll probably end the week just outside the top 10. Hopefully MadSab can climb a couple of places by Friday.

Will Ordinarys run be finally cancelled out by Alex’s new albums when it’s released!?

What exactly do you mean by a run being cancelled out? And also I'm not aware he's even announced the album yet?

Starred out I assume?

My guess is starred out for a few weeks then straight back

If we are unlucky for it to still be around when that happens 🤣

Yeh that’s what I meant. But that bbc like stop his run. Will be annoying as I do like a good long runner!

Nice to see Bebe back in the top 40.

Hoping it can make it this week or else it’ll hit ACR and be doomed to its #41 peak forever.

I don’t realise it’s been charting for close to 10 weeks.

It's on SCR for now so I'm hoping there's a chance it might.

I’d be shocked if they hold onto Top 30 rather than climb tbh unless streaming really takes off - it’s dropped to #4 on iTunes, not in the Top 200 on Spotify but holding up on Apple.

Turned up to HMV Manchester I along with others was turned away because didn’t pre order even though It did say 'Purchase in store on day of event to attend" on hmv website, annoying that they are actively turning away sales

This is so annoying, not like they don't have enough in stock surely!? She needs every sale she can get!

Bring Your Love in the top 20 cheeseblock

Thanks to Sabrina. The last time Madonna had a solo U.K. top 10 entry was 2009.

Haven't read the rest of the responses - is it just me or were others expecting a higher position for the Madge duet given that Sabrina is such a radio and streaming sweetheart? Top 20 on first look means it'll barely scrape the top 20, or get out of it come Friday. I was thinking first look would be top 5 or #6 and then falls down the charts.

This is what I said in the streaming thread yesterday:

I agree with this - in these scenarios I think it's always best to judge it by the lead artist's standards and not the feature's. Bring Your Love has undoubtedly been doing better because of Sabrina's presence on the song than it would be doing without her, and I think judging it against Sabrina's own music wouldn't feel fair because that's basically a different playing field.

To use some examples, let's look at some of Ed Sheeran's features.

Burna Boy - For My Hand - his highest debut as primary artist at the time (#30), peak of #18

Camila Cabello - Bam Bam - Camila's highest debut (#22) since Señorita almost three years earlier, and her highest debut as the first named artist ever, peak of #7 marking a significant recovery from previous single Don't Go Yet's #37 debut and peak

Russ - Are You Entertained - #47 peak, the one song Russ has charted in the UK

These are all surrounded by even bigger hits that Ed achieved as primary artist, meaning it's fair to suggest his own music is a different ball game to his features. Yet, his name power at the time was enough to mark significant upticks for each of those artists, and there are more examples too! There are examples of this for the likes of Dave, Drake, Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift too.

I think it's fair to say Bring Your Love would be performing less well without Sabrina's involvement, so in the context of Madonna's discography, where her last album didn't even produce a top 75 hit, let alone top 40, and her last top 40 hit as a lead artist was over a decade ago, it's a definite uptick and that's at least in part thanks to Sabrina (though I do think there's a little more hype for new Madonna than there was during the Madame X era).

Yes i was feeling exactly the same, it makes me wonder if Sabrina wasnt on it would it still be doing the same or doing even worse?

I doubt it would have debuted with 2.5 million streams without Sabrina. Didn’t the first track do less than a million?
