Shame All I Want by Offspring isn’t doing anything following the announcement of the game Crazy Taxi World Tour to be released next year

It’s already charted before though. Are you sure you’d be ok with it? 😮

It only reached number 31 way back in 1997 so I’d be cool with it plus, it’s a great song which isn’t overplayed

Would love for this to have a revival, Crazy Taxi is one of my favourite ever games but I think it's too niche to have a big impact sadly

Crazy Taxi really is one of the best games and if All I Want it gets enough streams, it could do well enough for a reset. It’s a shame they didn’t churn out random resets in 2023 the way they do now so we could’ve had a brand new entry from Tom Petty courtesy of GTA 6

I'm pretty sure the rules in 2023 were the same as they are now, the Tom Petty song just did not reach a hypothetical chart position high enough for the OCC to notice to give it a reset. (It would have been a very fleeting minor chart entry at best anyway)

Really feels like the cure has a shot at number 1 when album drops

I hope so and if Taylor gets number 1 this Friday, I hope she retakes it on 26th

Mac Miller has scored his first top 20 on Spotify with "Cinderella" (#19).

I've been playing this Taylor song several times a day, it's probably my favourite from her since Anti-Hero. Really lovely track.

Hopefully it will stabilise and climb again once Toy Story 5 is out.

Well yeah, its copied and pasted from when she was Number 1

Taylor flopping on Spotify. I Knew It.

If 2026 is the new normal for the charts then I don’t know what to think. It’s becoming more and more obvious there needs to be a separate chart for songs older than 3 years.

The charts are a measure of what's currently popular, people need to deal with the fact that at some points that might be a lot of older songs. And anyway why 3 years? How would they arbitrarily decide on a threshold?
