The new tracks getting the same kind of exposure/promotion on Spotify as they do Apple Music would give them a bigger boost than what they achieve on AM, thus positioning them in a stronger position to get added to key playlists more frequently and the turn over not being as horrible as it is. New music by smaller/"more local" artists always start off stronger on Apple Music than they do Spotify, due to AM "Geo-Blocking" their playlists iirc. So if they had that kind of exposure on Spotify immediately - the biggest streaming platform - it could only be a good thing imo.
