Confirmed by a reliable source that there's not any delay and there will be an official announcement (or more teasers?) next week.

Her official site has been updated from mileycyrus.com to mileyofficial.com

Teasers have begun. The reliable source also mentioned that there there will be an album announcement in conjunction with the single release this Friday.

A single on Friday?!?! I really hope they can get themselves a big era and a real comeback moment. It seems like social media is here for it (and the news of Dolly I think will only elevate any material that drops anytime soon!).

Sounds great, hope the single is strong. Maybe a #1 contender given how low sales are?

It would be so perfect to see Miley follow a Dolly no.1

Her site has been updated with the picture below and the reliable source confirmed that there will be an announcement tomorrow.

As an update, all of her main socials (Instagram, TikTok and YouTube) have been updated to, simply, Miley, dropping Cyrus in them (well, not in Facebook and Twitter yet, lol!).

The album is called Bass Persuades.

Out September 18.

Miley Cyrus is making a complete U-turn and simply becoming Miley. She's creating a buzz by announcing a new album titled Bass Persuades, available September 18th, which will feature the eponymous single. This new album also marks a turning point in Miley's career, as it's her first release under the Atlantic US label. It follows Something Beautiful, released last year, and Endless Summer Vacation (2023), propelled by the global hit "Flowers."

What an odd title
