Shame Olivia Dean didn’t include Rein Me In as a bonus track on her album. If she did include it, it would have more sales than it has now. People would’ve been buying her album just for Rein Me In

I literally just said let's not invent scenarios to get annoyed at, and 3 more posts doing precisely that have appeared...

Jesus christ when does this ridiculous rhetoric ever end 🤣

A lot of artists put songs they feature on, on their own albums

this is the most boring stagnant the charts have ever been, a fitting #1 I suppose

Except rein me in was on Sam's album so why would Olivia put it on hers.

Because without her, the song would’ve been successful but not this successful and the duet version is only on the deluxe version of Sam’s album

It's an artistic decision by Olivia to not add Rein Me In to her album, I assume. The Art of Loving is her body of work, Rein Me In was never a part of it, so I respect her for keeping true to her own artistry and not adding it to The Art of Loving for the sake of streaming sales (which she's not exactly short of).

I agree, not everyone needs to do a Olly Alexander and add big bits to get a album #1 🥲

it's so tacky when artists do that imo.

Disappointed that Ari hasn’t bagged the top spot, I thought she’d be a shoe-in, hopefully things can pick up through the week for her. Yay at Silva cracking the top 10 though but I doubt it’ll stay in by the end of the week.

Hoping for a climb for Audrey and a new entry for Adela through the week too.

Is there anything interesting coming out in the next few weeks?

There’s been plenty of interesting (and more coming) - none seem to be taking off in any meaningful way though.

maybe delusional of me but Tate is teasing new music and I think she could pull off a #1

So Sam Fender will block Ariana and will be #1 for at least 3 more weeks since it's increasing in streams compared to last week. Couldn't he let Shakira to be #1 for one week? Was the desperation needed it?

I don't think she'll go to #1, though. Streaming has been low for someone as big as Ariana.

It’s frustrating nothing seems to stick at all this year.

Not going to discuss this further in the thread but happy to have a PM chat with anyone who wants to say more.

Except for RMI

Olivia dean headlined lollapalooza 26 in Chicago this weekend and brought out Sam fender to perform rein me in celebrating there longest running number 1. I wonder if that will give it a boost as it’s only peaked at 64 on the billboard 100 so far in the US
