I would be shocked if she didn't release the vault tracks for the anniversary a missed opportunity

yeah i think we will but it will decline even faster than showgirl, which it did compared to her previous ones.

I do agree with you on that however the tortured poets department did have the tour crutch to help it

Her album showing most longevity seems to be folklore

There is clearly a bit of a country thing going on. Taylor might be minded to re-release the Debut with the vault tracks to capitalise on that.

Its the 20th anniversary in October all the theories seems to point towards that with an announcement of something coming 8/7 or 8/9 (american dates) a reference to 1 of the lyrics from debut i cant see it doing showgirl numbers though probably FearlessTV or Speak Now TV numbers at best

oh i can see that happening. Her fans would buy anything regardless.

So are we on for 23 weeks at #1 for Rein Me In?

I'm guessing that as it was in streaming decline before this week and would have probably gone to ACR after this week if it hadn't achieved the record and gone newsworthy, that it will go back into decline again after this week.

So 20 weeks at #1 with an increase, then 3 weeks to go to ACR?

Unless something randomly explodes in the next 3 weeks thats looking like the most likely scenario

I'm not getting my hopes up for it to go to ACR until we actually get partway through a 3rd decline week and it's still declining. It's probably been about 4? times now that it's been on what would be its 3rd decline but then manages to gain again for some reason or other (at least there is a reasonable explanation for it doing so this week!)

The increases have tied in with various points (Press coverage when it was coming close to overtaking Wet Wet Wet & Bryan, Olivia’s tour when Sam joined her for 2 dates, when it initially reached the top a new video came out etc.,).

This is why ACR needs to be rid of consecutive declines and move towards something like "3 declines in the last 4 weeks" to prevent songs dodging ACR by posting minimal increases when DLC-2. Also for a decline to be counted against the market as someone suggested before such as increasing by 1% whilst the market increased by 5% counts as a decline.

Because without the record and the press coverage it would actually be dropping this week 🤣 it wouldnt Be increasing if it didnt get the record

Even without that press Rein Me In would have returned to #1

Ariana's songs can't even pass Dai Dai almost 3 weeks after the World Cup

Where's Taylor Swift when you need her

Theres no guarantees it would have though, and it most certainly would be declining this week rather than boosting,

it would all depend on how fast Shakira would be declining after her first number 1 in years, theres nothing to say Shakira wouldnt have got a boost this week from hitting number 1 last week
