If only the CDs were dropped earlier in the week it would have motivated both fanbases to download - happy they’ve rushed the CDs out but we know how fans get behind them when they can see something is within reach.

I am saying some big gaps usually between chart positions higher up so it wouldn't be a bad thing if they held some back for week 2 if it only affected chart position a couple of spots

The fact it’s #64 and they are rush releasing whatever CDs they have available to them this is clearly going to be peak week - I can’t see anything else saving it

This is inaccurate. The Wednesday midweek had the song at no 25 not no 64.

The guy who supplies the info works for a record label and gets detailed daily reports.

I agree Iain…it looks as though Ryan has shared sales figures to go with Wednesday’s update but has mistakenly put 64 instead of 25 for LS.

 

If it were a Thursday update LS would have higher number and the album reissues wouldn’t have held the same positions as they did on Wednesday.

#60 last week sold 7,718, so with those figures for Love Sensation there’s no way it’d be as high as #25 this late in the week. I don’t like it either but it is accurate
