Love the cover - worked out to just under £20 with postage but they know whatever price they slap on it the Kylie gays will snap it up.

I’m so pleased Warner had a plan (even if it was messy) - there’s no way they could have allowed this collab limp in at #38.

Madonna extends Official Singles Chart record with Kylie collaboration Love Sensation

Love Sensation nets Madonna a record-extending 65th UK Top 10, and Kylie her 37th.

Sensational! This week’s highest new entry belongs to not one, but two bona fide pop icons, as Madonna and Kylie’s blockbuster collaboration Love Sensation debuts at Number 8.

Lifted from Madonna’s 13th UK Number 1 album CONFESSIONS II, the track becomes her highest-charting single in almost 17 years, since Celebration reached Number 3 in 2009, and earns her a record-extending 65th UK Top 10 single. Madonna’s last visit to the Top 10 came courtesy of The Weeknd and Playboi Carti collaboration Popular, which reached Number 10 in February 2024.

That incredible 65th hit further cements Madonna’s place among Official Chart royalty, with only two artists in history boasting more UK Top 10 singles: Elvis Presley with 76 and Cliff Richard with 68. Madonna’s 65 Top 10 hits span four different decades - the 1980s, ’90s, 2000s and ’20s.

Love Sensation sees Kylie collect her 37th Top 10 single, following 2025 Official Christmas Number 1 XMAS, which became her eighth chart-topper overall and made her the first female artist to score UK Number 1 singles across four different decades. Kylie's wider Top 10 run is even longer, spanning an extraordinary five consecutive decades, from the 1980s right through to the 2020s.

Love Sensation becomes the third Official Top 40 single from CONFESSIONS II, following Sabrina Carpenter collab Bring Your Love (29) and Danceteria (38), helping make it her first album to spawn three UK Top 40 hits in 18 years. The last was 2008’s Hard Candy, which delivered 4 Minutes (1), Give It 2 Me (7) and Miles Away (39).

And here’s a fun Official Chart fact for you: before joining forces on Love Sensation, Madonna and Kylie had amassed exactly 100 UK Top 10 singles between them - 64 for Madonna and 36 for Kylie. Their new collaboration takes those respective totals to 65 and 37, an astonishing 102 individual Top 10 credits combined, while their UK Top 10 careers span 42 years for Madonna and 38 for Kylie.

Now that’s longevity.

Amazing result! Honestly expected top 20 at best with the CDs. Honestly they could have probably pushed for higher if people knew the singles would be dispatched earlier but either way, iconic!!

Would've been approximately #45 had they not dispatched the physicals!

Be interesting to see the store breakdown how many from kylies how many from Madonnas , seen a few believing its all madonna 😅

19,707 overall units this week! Without CDs, it would've been between #41 and #47 this week.

Omg 77 sales separating it from #10! That very last minute downloading campaign (including 10 from moi) definitely made the difference between #10 (possibly lower) and #8.

Just seen #12 sold 19,370 so those last few downloads really could’ve been what pushed it into the top 10! Wow

This! So close - glad I found the Amazon downloads before the cutoff too, a week where every sale really did matter.

Also 11k in CDs seems about right too between both fanbases - Kylie usually sells between 4-5k so was expecting it to be double with the Madonna fans ordering too.

If the singles chart was pure sales alone, Love Sensation would've been a #1 hit.

I'm still gutted by the low position of light years here.

What a result for Love Sensation I never ever thought it would go top 10 I'm thrilled with this.
