Official Charts Report

Pop sensations KATSEYE could secure their first ever UK Top 10 single with Animal (9).

Following the release of their latest EP WILD on Friday, Animal, which peaked at Number 16 earlier this month, is threatening to break unfamiliar ground and enter the elite standings. The champagne is currently on ice but as we all know, anything can change in the next few days.

Moreover Hootie Frutti, another track taken from the girl’s EP, may clinch this week’s highest new entry (12).

Elsewhere, HUGEL’s Movin’ To The Sun featuring Imael Angel and Ultra Nate (3), Silva Bumpa’s On 2nite (6) and Tame Impala’s Loser (13) all eye fresh peaks.

After the release of her third studio album, Phoebe Bridgers may see the title track Lost Weekend become the Californian’s debut Top 40 hit (24).

Finally, and fresh from his Magazine Open Air show in London last night, British DJ Josh Baker begins his campaign once more for a maiden Top 40, as My Place featuring Poppy Baskomb starts the chart week at Number 26.

Should see an all new top 3 in the albums with Phoebe, The Script and Jungle!

Kylie & Madge at #8 in 2026?

I am having a bit of that.

7-year-old 1990 me is very happy, and 43-year-old 2026 me feels even better!

Now hoping it will be added to a load of hits playlists and stay on the chart for a decent while!

Edited by HiyaLuv!

Hopefully the vinyl will keep Kylie & Madge riding high next week - mines been dispatched already.

It will definitly help the, ideally a new remix along with a few downloads, cd single sales and some streaming and it might hold better than we expect.

Kylie and Madonna fans we need to act early and keep the legends top 40 this week

Downloads, vinyl, cd and stream

Now that I have bought all the physical versions, I will leave the record companies to do the rest.

The Weeknd might see some increases with his Wembley shows (went last night and was incredible!!!). The Highlights likely to get a boost but can some some of his studio albums getting boosts too .

And of course Arianas London shows begin too. Hopefully a petal increase? And again hopefully some of her past albums return to the charts too!

Lots of indie stores have been posting they have limited quantities of Olivia Dean’s ‘Baby Steps’ orange 7” vinyl.

Not sure how many have been made available but it might appear in the mids.

Wax & Beans had 20 copies and said they have more on the way - https://www.waxandbeans.co.uk/products/olivia-dean-baby-steps-7-orange-vinyl?_pos=13&_sid=750ae9155&_ss=r

could Katseye go top 10? their latest singles have done well but it's just a 5 track EP and their previous one last year only peaked at #55 here

I have a feeling Kylie/Madge will be out of the top 100 this week.

Not a chance!it will be top10

Unless they shift 20k vinyls Madonna/Kylie aren't staying top 10 but if they can shift 6k vinyls (which they should) they'll stay top 100.

The vinyls aren’t released until September?

People have had dispatched emails already
