I might as well put this here too. I accidentally mixed up the song contests and what was entered where, as there are 98 of them, so I predicted Alanis Morissette to do very well but in the art pop edition of Pop Forum Song Contest instead of this! (Then I deleted the post)

I haven't heard everything yet, will probably do my first listenthrough on SyncTube tonight but yeah, Alanis should do well x

This was such a good edition, my favourite yet. I loved 12 songs and sad not to be able to give anything to two of them.

From the list of names in the mix, the top five that I voted for is the complete opposite of what I would have expected, so many pleasant surprises in here.

The winner of the previous contest is always one of the three warm up songs. One of the others will be the song I think the Sophie B Hawkins vetoed person should have switched to. I might play Marlene as the other one, then.

I thought the chorus of that Youssou N'Dour song sounded familiar and a bit of digging tells me that's because it was in the BJSC '80s spin-off! That previous outing was almost a decade ago now at least.

wow I normally do multiple listens and eliminate 2-3 songs per listen, but it’s v hard on this contest!

These are the types of songs that I like to listen to over and over again as sometimes it hits me down the line, rather than instantly! It’s gonna be a loooong week!
