"Caroline," the viral hit that helped the singer/songwriter escalate from indie status to a major label while he was still in his teens, relied on cinematic vistas and rolling harmonies as much as his dramatic vocals. By the time he released the EP In Another Life in 2023, Sombr was collaborating with Tony Berg -- a producer known for his work with Phoebe Bridgers and Michael Penn -- and opening up his music in ways he continued to explore on the 2024 single "In Your Arms" and his 2025 Top 40 hit "Undressed." After landing another Top 40 hit with "Back to Friends," he made his full-length debut in 2025 with the breakup-themed I Barely Know Her. - Apple MusicTop 100 Chart History2025 07 back to friends -1- MILLIONAIRE2025 04 undressed -2- MILLIONAIRE2025 37 we never dated -3-2025 07 12 to 12 -4- MILLIONAIRE2026 04 Homewrecker -1-2026 31 Potential -2-2026 19 My Body Isn't Ready -3-0 x #1 | 2 x Top 5 | 4 x Top 10 | 5 x Top 20 | 7 x Top 40 | 7 x Top 100Social Media sombr

Friday at 15:551 day Maybe you like Australia’s chart rules, whereby if an older song (one that hasn't charting in the Top 100 for at least 10 years) goes majorly viral or lands a huge sync placement in a movie or TV show, a record label can request to have it reinstated on the Main Charts. If approved, it is allowed to stay on the main chart for a maximum of 10 weeks.
Friday at 15:561 day This taking so long to start taking off is quite random. It’s a decent song but I’m sick of it now 😂
Friday at 15:561 day Didn't realise the Courteeners album was a greatest hits, thought the midweek sales were low for them!
Friday at 15:561 day Crazy how much My Body Isn't Ready has moved around in the charts. From being far out of the top 40 to now his 5th top 20 single!
Friday at 15:561 day Unlucky - Bananarama just missed the top 5 of the albums at number 6 . Edited Friday at 15:561 day by mrpopquiz

But I guess it was high (ish) anyway

Friday at 15:581 day Not a bad hold for “Marianne” at all.Enjoying “Stop The Wedding” - hope it can keep climbing.“My Body Isn’t Ready” has grown on me so glad it’s having some legs.

Empowerment for both herself and for other women has always been central to the blockbuster singer-songwriter. Born in London to Kosovar Albanian parents in 1995, Lipa immediately stood out with her 2017 self-titled debut, thanks to the triumphant breakup smash “New Rules,” the self-love anthem “IDGAF,” and the assured “Hotter Than Hell”—making it clear that this was no ingénue, but rather an outspoken, effortlessly cool face of pop’s future. Making history as the first female solo artist to receive five BRIT Award nominations, Lipa soon added several Grammy Awards to her mantelpiece and jumped dramatically to the next level with 2020’s Future Nostalgia, a uniting force of positivity released at the dawn of global lockdowns. Her breezy confidence has made her a versatile collaborator with everyone from DJ superstar Calvin Harris to country singer Chris Stapleton, and her Barbie-inspired 2023 hit “Dance the Night” built naturally upon the savvy disco revisionism of Future Nostalgia. By the time of 2024’s Radical Optimism, Lipa had her absolute pick of creative partners—and she chose Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker, whom she had fantasized about working with ever since being “completely shook” by Tame’s 2015 opus Currents. Also in the mix were songwriting guns Tobias Jesso Jr. and Caroline Ailin and a timely assemblage of inventive producers. If Radical Optimism is more textured and nuanced than Future Nostalgia, singles like “Houdini” and “Illusion” retain the glide and snap of classic dance pop, while the lyrics probe deeper into her own personal experience. That gives Lipa’s newer material a mounting sense of being forged in the fire of heartbreak and healing, bringing the unmistakable glint of honesty to diva-level pop radiance like “Falling Forever.” - Apple MusicTop 100 Chart History2016 15 Hotter Than Hell -2-2016 30 Blow Your Mind (Mwah) -3-2016 10 No Lie (Sean Paul feat.
