RontBet predicts a runaway win for Aeroche, and second for Ane Brun, followed (but not closely) by Cor Lupus. Neliönoir and The Spodic Empire also bound to be high. I'll try and make more sense of the other contenders probably after the semi results...

I too think it will be an easy second win for Ane Brun - she just makes that style of scandi music that appeals to virtually everyone on Buzzjack (see Robyn, Susanne Sundfør etc) and it’s another strong single from her.

Haven't listened to the second semi so far, but in Semi A I see the highest odds for Amara ctk100.

Do you think she will win the Pop contest too?

I haven't heard the song yet so am keeping my opinion open for now but I generally can't stand Ane Brun's warbling voice. Didn't like her previous winner at all and will never forgive her desecration of Can't Stop Playing.

This is a hard one to call, it's a strong semi and hard to predict. Outside of the obvious big alternative contenders, I'm not sure how much the pop bloc vote might outweigh the other alternative entries?

I really don't think anyone outside of the contenders should be getting comfortable x

I predict everything is going to be top 10 x

Six of my seven Semi 2 favourites predicted out oop. Those results would be a hard watch.

I don't take anything for granted after the quadruple DNQ this year so always happy to be in the Q mix. Some great stuff in Semi 1 and kind of feels like 27 songs or so realistically fighting for 20 spots.

That is the number I had in my Q pile when I started the predictions. We’re going to be in for some big surprises when everything turns out to be really close

Really beginning to think

a) I chose the wrong month to send an alt song

b) I’m in the wrong semi final to have a chance at qualifying

Cannot remember the last time one of my entries got any sort of contender hype (I think even my last few top 5/10 hits went under the radar in predictions, and I don't think I recall any of my more middling hits getting any rogue punt hype, other than maybe from myself being delusional (I am still not over 'One Hand Behind The Devil' only coming 20th xx)). Maybe Minuit Machine?
