I wasn’t really expecting to win until I saw the comments in the listening-through, found out Ane had already won BJSC before, and then noticed she was getting quite a bit of hype in the currently running BJSC too. It did make me wonder if I should have sent her there earlier instead.

Bottom 5 (🥲) but the points look good enough so I'll take that for something I was planning for Buzzfestivalen (if ever the next one is happening 👀). FiFi is someone I was hoping to send sometime for months. I know dazegxd was in Club Bizarre but 'Fallen Angel' was the "most weird" (and personally enjoyable) from her catalogue so no choice* but gotta recycle from someone.

*Actually, I could have come up with a "weirder" entry but it's best I contain myself or else. Also, I'm one of those people that wished the entries were more... unhinged. 🫢

The points dried up for 10cc in the second half but I'm still happy with 5th place which is my best placing in a Pop Forum Song Contest. Thanks to all who gave points to One Night In Paris. It's track 1 on 10cc's third album, 'The Original Soundtrack' and 'I'm Not In Love' is track 2. Imagine what it would have been like in 1975 buying that album and hearing those two songs back to back for the first time (it was before I'm Not In Love was released as a single). I've seen that 10cc are working on a new album which will be their first since 1995 and that Kevin Godley is involved as well as Graham Gouldman who's been keeping the group going as a live act.

Congrats uhsting glad that one of my Top 4 at least did so well and won <3. Oh and now we're tied for 3 PFSC wins each .

Mixed results for the rest of my Top 10 with half of them finishing high up and the other half finishing in lower end, but very happy overall!!!

JMSN in the end did exactly how I expected, and just happy it managed to get at least one 12 <3.

To be honest, Black Boboi name being inspired by BoBoiBoy was also new to me! Shame that the show was broadcasted only on selected Asian regions of Disney Channel back then.

Anyway, I discovered my entry also from Madhouse's bad CGI anime adaptation of Wandance. The story was good nevertheless, and their dance songs are fantastic. Please check them out x

Thanks for everyone who voted for Stained including @Bror for that late 12 points! It pushed me into the top 10 for the first time in a BJ contest. Sorry for getting the theme completely wrong 🫢 but I’m glad some of you enjoyed the song despite that. I always really struggle with which song/act fit into which genre, so you might need to bear with me in future contests when I inevitably cock it up again😆.

Oops, I definitely died after a while, couldn't keep my eyes open anymore. But now I'm alive again and mostly pleased with these results! My top pointer won, which was a fantastic discovery and I was pleased to see it get other 12s too, including from the host 🙏 As I said in the other thread, I kept switching my top 2 around but in the end I'm glad I gave 'Ghorzetein' my top points as it does edge it for me slightly. Congrats @uhsting and thank you for the discovery! I even shared it with Sabrewulf who also said it was very interesting.

'Red Mind' (my 10 points) was really fantastic too though and I'm very surprised it didn't do better! I thought that would be one of the frontrunners.

Really pleased with 3rd too, wasn't expecting it, thanks for all the points! My best result in PFSC 🥰 Also it's a nice refreshing change from doing badly in both BJSC (second last in the final) and The Best Song Contest in the World... Ever! (also second last) recently 😆 Both with songs I really love!

This was really fun for me - there was 0 competition in it, forced me to send something way out of my usual and forced me to listen to plenty of songs which I probably would never have found otherwise, so thank you for such an inspired theme Chez!

21st isn’t amazing but glad some people enjoyed Marea - I don’t think many would’ve guessed that was my entry but I discovered Lido through a song featuring Nelly Furtado on her new album (which I probably should’ve sent but thought it might have been vetoed - alas Janet and Cher were here so I way overthought that) and then Marea came on as a suggested song and thought it was really pretty and summery.

And thank you for jumping on doing this at such short notice Chez - it was meant to be me but summer just kept getting away from me so I had to concede that I couldn’t host in the end and I think this has been more fun than anything I had in mind.

Congrats uhsting!! Amazing to see my bronze medal win and my gold from O FUTURE in 2nd place.

My whole podium just about made the top 10 with HMLTD hanging in there too, yay.

My absurd run of 7 top 10s in a row in this contest had to come crashing down at some point, but a shame it had to happen with a theme (and host!) that should've been well suited to me on paper. 'ARCHANGEL' didn't quite connect as much as I hoped but at least I just about managed top 20 after languishing on 0 for a little while at the start. Thanks everyone who supported this entry!

Pleasantly surprised with my 9th placing. I never really expect to do overly well in these things but my hope is that I reach the top 10 so on that front, I’m pleased!

And not to get all mushy and sentimental, but to be honest, I’m just happy that a lot of people seemed to like my song. If people continue to enjoy a song I’ve recommended outside of the contest then that’s a win for me and makes me happy 🥹

Obviously utterly disgusted I didn't win, after Dolly got all the way to #2 I thought I had this in the BAG! 🤭 In all honesty I was expecting the song to bomb tbh, it's one that needs to grow on you I didn't initially think much of it myself but I now genuinely really like it, and it's very random and weird so seemed to fit the contest well (plus was a bit of a last resort from a basic bitch lol).
