Correct me if I'm wrong, but props have to go to Wardy who I think has managed to go undetected as the person behind Vengaboys for the entirety of the competition? The deflection tactics have certainly been at play with several people hiding behind different artists this season, and despite being eliminated early in the competition with a cover of Charli xcx and Troye Sivan's 1999, Wardy came back fighting with another iconic Vengaboys song to get back in. Despite that and We Like to Party! (The Vengabus) being the only song played, their presence in the category certainly injected a lot of fun and some light-hearted joy for the camp 90s/00s pop lovers!

Justice for Vengaboys! Didn’t agree with their elimination or not winning the Gamu!

Just now, The Addyms Family said:

I knew awardinary was behind Vengaboys, and it was fun to watch everyone thinking it is me sarah

You’re defo Calvin!!

Wow, I knew Addy wasn’t Vengas as wouldn’t send a second group in a row presumably but didn’t expect Wardy at all, was so sure Wardy had Sam Smith!

No big surprise with M83, felt clear it was Chez after I realised it wasn’t Iz.

@-Jay-

After working alongside ElectroBoy in Season 2 to deliver a fourth-place finish for Conan Gray (the highest of any solo male artist so far across all three seasons of The Pop Factor), Jay opted to complete the trio of categories this year by mentoring Years & Years. While Years & Years managed to perform consistently well in the rounds leading up to it, The Six Chair Challenge was their undoing with a feature on The Magician's song Sunlight. HRH Princess Jazmine XIII opted to eliminate both them and iamamiwhoami, but Jay kept King up his sleeve in the event he'd be in this position fighting to come back. With a great selection of songs showcased for the group, Jay certainly did well to take them as far as they got considering they were possibly one of the 'outliers' in the category.

Oh big congrats Depeche Mode mentor, tbf either of those acts could have gone far in the lives.

It’s a shame how Y&Y went out as they had a lot to give, well done Jay for some great mentoring.

Aww that’s a shame - I do like Depeche Mode though, but Years and Years are amazing!

Also I was going to put in for years and years which is funny considering Jay and I were together with Conan last year
