The weakest of the three rounds for me personally, but the top 2 are classics (I hope Dido's got a gameplan though as that's very early for this to appear! Maybe if a certain other collaboration's allowed x), the MARINA song was a good one I hadn't heard before and I've really enjoyed the singles from this current Robyn era. Most of these other artists do definitely all have better to hopefully come though.

1. Dido – White Flag my favourite Dido song! So understated yet packs an emotional punch. A classic and rightly so.

2. Agnes – Selfmade not heard this one before but loving it! Hope it does well for her.

3. Marina – Bubblegum Bitch bop! Seems a very wise choice for round 1.

4. Kate Bush – Hounds of Love really enjoyed this one - looking forward to hearing more from her.

5. Leona Lewis – Better In Time never been a Leona essential for me but actually sounds surprisingly good in 2026.

6. Sophie Ellis-Bextor – Music Gets the Best Of Me again, never been a favourite of mine but still a solid track.

7. Robyn – Talk To Me this is a good start from Robyn.

8. Jessie Ware – Sauna good but not a song I'd go back to tbh.

9. Adele – Hello the perfect round 1 song choice based on title alone lmao. Always found this to be a bit overblown/melodramatic though. Not a fave by any means but not the worst here.

10. Milica – Ona Nosi Pradu love an underdog story but this just wasn't doing it for me this round.

11. Zara Larsson – Love Me Land this is not my cuppa sadly.

1. Dido - White Flag - probably my fave song of this round. Takes me back to uni days and receiving Life For Rent right at the start of term and being completely obsessed. She has many amazing songs in her back catalogue

3. Sophie Ellis Bextor - Music Gets The Best of Me - forgot how great this song is. Her voice sounds amazing on it

5. Tove Lo - Influence - catchy pop song that should not be at risk imo

6. Leona Lewis - Better In Time - solid ballad and great vocals

7. Agnes - Selfmade - risky choice but I liked this

8. Jessie Ware - Sauna - started to grow on me after I initially found it underwhelming

This was really stacked. "Music Gets the Best of Me" is my favourite of this round, followed by "Sauna" and "Bubblegum Bitch". "Ona nosi Pradu" by Milica Pavlović was a nice surprise, so let's see how far she could go because there's a lot of competition. As a side note, I do think "Hello" and "White Flag" were sent too early in my opinion and I wish another song of them were picked instead. I'm not saying that these picks were bad, just that they could be used for later rounds. Oh! And the single mix of "Better In Time" is also good. It's a long time that I haven't listened to it.

Either way, as I mentioned before, I still stand when I mentioned that "Influence" was an odd choice for the first round. Tove Lo has a great and a diverse discography, so sending an album track / promotional single from Lady Wood was strange. If the person behind her was trying to barely and/or making it through the round with this pick, I guess this explains everything.
