01 Adele - Hello · And hello to you Adele! I know this song hasn't quite stood the test of time for some but I still love it, and vocally she's never sounded more flawless.

02 Dido - White Flag · What a song! In truth it was almost too close to call for whether this or Adele would top my votes and on another day it might have finished the other way round.

03 MARINA - Bubblegum Bitch · Irresistibly catchy, one of Marina's highlights!

04 Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Music Gets the Best of Me · I think it'll be hard to send a bad Sophie song to this contest!

05 Kate Bush - Hounds of Love · Maybe not quite my favourite from the Bush but still a great song.

06 Robyn - Talk to Me · Probably would have been a bit higher if it wasn't so recent, but as it is it can't quite hold up against certified classics.

07 Leona Lewis - Better in Time (Single Mix) · Nice enough from Leona but I'm looking forward to others of hers more.

08 Jessie Ware - Sauna · Not bad but once again it suffers from being too recent.

09 Milica Pavlović - Ona nosi Pradu · Well this was certainly the best of the ones I wasn't previously familiar with. Loved the instrumental parts, but the vocals didn't quite do it for me.

10 Agnes - Selfmade · I was expecting this to be really bad judging by some of the comments above, but I thought it was fine.

11 Tove Lo feat. Wiz Khalifa - Influence · Nothing special but not terrible.

12 Zara Larsson - Love Me Land · We all love Zara but this song is not it, sorry.

Seems like the mentors of the Swedes are all playing the long game, whereas Adele, Dido, Kate Bush etc are already using up iconic hits. However it looks like this strategy will be fatal for one of them sadly.

I know Love Me Land was a gigantic flop in the real workd but I thought it was generally considered as an iconic gem online… or maybe that’s just me

01 Dido - White Flag (This seems to be getting great marks across the board and rightly so, what a classic, a song both me & my Mum loved so feels quite special to me)

02 Robyn - Talk To Me (one of my favourite songs of the year, luh)

03 Adele - Hello (I haven’t listened to this in years and expected it to have aged badly but her vocals, ooft, I was very wrong)

04 Zara Larsson - Love Me Land (not being a bitter betty by not putting Zara 1st, I promise!! I’ve always thought this was kinda underrated but not one of her strongest singles)

05 MARINA - Bubblegum Bitch (a Marina classic even if it’s not a single!)

06 Leona Lewis - Better In Time (also aged better than I expected when I saw the song in the list)

07 Jessie Ware - Sauna (best song on her new album for me)

08 Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Music Gets The Best Of Me (not one I go back to much but a bop)

09 Agnes - Selfmade (love Agnes and this album, not one of her highlights and in this mix, that makes it difficult but I do still think it’s great)

10 Kate Bush - Hounds Of Love (not super familiar with a lot of Kate, I know this but no well and liked it)

11 Milica Pavlović - Ona nosi Pradu (obviously very up my street, but I can’t help feel people are grading on a curve for this a little - fun and bops, but on a production level and as a whole, I can’t in good conscience say I prefer it to the 10 above)

12 Tove Lo - Influence (I’m such a Tove stan, about to see her for the 3rd time in November but this is quite literally my least favourite song on that album and the Wiz verse doesn’t help - as much as it pains me to aid in the downfall of one of my favourite artists)
