I feel like it’s his TikTok fanbase and other celebrities rallying behind this that are making this happen. It’s very very MoR and definitely is only doing well in a world that Man I Need exists in.

Here's Your Perfect was a minor international hit for him back in 2021 (#106 on the Global Excl. US chart with big peaks in a bunch of South-East Asian countries - #1 in Indonesia and #2 in Philippines and Malaysia) but Babydoll's his first big hit elsewhere

I'd never really heard of him before this song appeared in the upper reaches of the chart. Yes there are Tiktok videos of the song with Perrie Edwards and Alison Hammond.

I knew him from Voice UK. He's technically the most successful in terms of highest charting single that's not a feature.

Not sure I would go so far to call it a rip-off but there are certainly parts which have a very similar sound.

I do like this song though.

I really like the song - whether they made it with TikTok in mind, who knows. I'd be surprised if there were many people getting hits with songs that weren't made to play well there.

Well this is now in the rotation on the radio at work for me and I can already tell it will be the bane of my existence for a while (alongside 'Boston' whose bane-of-existence-ness is still ongoing). I really, really don't like his voice oop. The song would be inoffensive/ok otherwise.
