At the other end, unfortunately Roosevelt just did nothing for me, especially after i rather enjoyed Luna. I actually sought out the non-midnight version of Take Me Back and annoyingly, it was far superior!

1 Sam Fender - Saturday I doubt Sam F will ever truly underwhelm me. He's such a talent and this song is no exception.

2 Tom Grennan - Before You another great offering from Tom - one that grew considerably with repeated listens. His voice on this track is SO GOOD.

3 Roosevelt - Take Me Back (Midnight Version) out of all the acts in this competition that I've never heard of before - he's definitely the one impressing me the most. Great selection again.

4 Lewis Capaldi - Forget Me he is another whose vocals just elevate any track. This is another solid selection.

5 Calvin Harris & Sam Smith - Promises lmao at the hastiness to play this before team Calvin. A bop!

6 Darin feat. Kat DeLuna - Breathing Your Love much prefer this to last round's choice.

7 Gary Numan - I Die: You Die conversely not loving this as much as last round's choice but still good!

8 Calvin Harris - Summer this song has never done it for me - maybe severe radio overplay back in the day did that. I hope his earlier solo hits emerge at some point.

9 HRVY - 1 Day 2 Nights it's ok but not really my thing.

10 Damien Rice - Woman Like a Man I couldn't get into this.

11 Mackenzy Mackay - London I have nothing nice to say about this (sorry).

Not much changes in my top picks (Calvin still sending some nostalgic favourites <3 I do like Promises too but it did tire on me quite quickly), but did enjoy this Sam Fender song a lot more, Super Hans in the video was a nice surprise as well x
