Sorry, maybe I should've been clearer. I've seen that particular trigger warning written like that before. It's a song about sexual assault.

I'm listening through everything again now in order to send me my votes (lol) and I can say that the PISS song is not the only very intense song here, there's one other especially that I'm thinking of.

I didn't do anything The voting system is the same as previous UPs, but I was considering challenging it and asking if we could extend it to 15 songs but it might be a bit late now haha

OMG who sent Venetian Snares!!!! I think I've sent him to three different contests now (BJSC spinoff, UP as a remixer and Club Bizarre) and v nearly sent something from an older album to BJSC this month so that's obviously gna go down well with me x

I mentioned in the last contest that the scoring system seems weirdly inconsistent with other contests. Both only choosing 12 and the top pick getting 20.

I guess the size of this edition is kind of in between a BJSC semi and a BJSC final, so in that way it makes sense to me to have 12, as BJSC semi has 10 and BJSC final has 15. That said, it might still be something to potentially consider as it does feel a bit off. I have only done my own votes so far.

I like the unique scoring system of UP. Long may it remain protected!🔒

I had a dream last night that someone voted for only 10 songs and I had to carefully explain to them that they have to vote for 12 🫠
