⬛ number one falling girlie: ojnoj, 4th in sf1 to 28th in the final, with 156 of its 157 points coming from sf1 voters

I find that quite amazing lmao

Oh it was already said xo I posted it without having read the last few posts

I think I noticed a set of votes that had nothing in common with my votes either - maybe I'm wrong though... I believe it may have been Freidland as well

Had another look at Freidland's votes and it indeed had no songs in common with my votes, BUT I did vote for Freidland themselves soo :')

Mad that this is the 2nd time Chris has sent an Asian pop song that I’d known for months but didn’t think it’d do much in BJSC and then it proceeded to smash and I was jealous.

Which is amusing cos I know that’s exactly how he felt about It’s Me. Happy for an N DNTN hit tho always and it’s got me rehooked on Bang Bang ❤️

nellygpt not willing to let go of the hosting duties as of yet. fun stats!

Thank you for hosting a great contest Neil! Love the effort has gone into it and fun facts.

Congrats to Greenfroze with an unexpected winner! I can hear 'Choke Me' which was Romania's Eurovision entry this year in the chorus so can see why it's gone all the way!

Terra Avium, Altyr, N DNTN and Nelionoir were all in my votes too ❤️

Love to see these stats!

😮
⬛ if only sf1 voted, altyr muunilinst would have won by 1 point over n dntn (189 to 188)
⬛ if only sf2 voted, terra avium would have won by 51 points over danæviia (202 to 151)
⬛ terra avium would have finished 30th with sf1 voters. altyr muunilinst and n dntn would have been 27th and 28th with sf2 voters

😮
⬛ greenfroze was the true crossover girlie. 4th with sf1 voters and 8th with sf2 voters. only neliönoir (9th and 5th) also made the top 10 with both
⬛ fsr rontvia was 15th with sf1 voters and 15th with sf2 voters (cute)
⬛ ojnoj was 3rd with sf1 voters and last with sf2 voters (1 point). scotland 2 was the opposite: last with sf1 voters (10 points) and 12th with sf2 voters
⬛ land of dw had the sf2 song sf1 liked best

⬛ greenfroze had the sf1 song sf2 liked best

😮
⬛ most loyal sf1 girlies: herbilore gave just 2 points to sf2. altyr muunilinst gave 6 points to sf2
⬛ most loyal sf2 girlies: skall gave just 17 points to sf1. east rukahavian and terra avium gave 18 points to sf1
⬛ wrong semi girlies: vaskla and cheiron, both in sf2, gave 97 of their 124 points to sf1. deandria and n dntn, both in sf1, gave 90 and 89 of their 124 points to sf2
⬛ persephonia gave exactly 60 points to each semi

This seems to be the clearest indicator of who is pop vs. alt bloc and who leans more one way or the other, thanks to that semi draw! Guess this makes me pop bloc leaning but with some alt tastes!

Tasty tasty data 👅

I am almost officially done, but will post two spreadsheet templates later for fellow spreadsheet noobs who need all the thorough help they can get when hosting x

Everyone say thank you to my accountant who is now well versed on BJSC, right down to reading the wiki. Maybe we need to get him to join

I'm surprised I'm as high as that for semi 1 especially as 3 Steps Ahead didn't qualify which would have added a huge swing itself. But then you had the likes of SKYND and Elliot Minor which were more alt leaning anyway.

I’ll take 3rd

Oh Nelly doing the semi voting analysis I was going to do king of spreadsheets I fear

Ojnoj getting only 1 point from the opposite semi seems wild, admittedly not a stat I ever look out for but that can't be something that happens often.

(Also wait are you talking about an actual accountant? I thought that was a euphemism for Leww or something xx)

So points-wise I was the biggest fan of SF2 that was in SF1? Intriguing ~

I think we should use the fan clubs as the semis for next month xxx

Semi two you SUCK I could have been 28th!!!!!

⬛ scotland 2 gave no points to any of the top 5, ajanaeda gave them the most with 43

Definitely happy with the overall results when you put it like that!!!

Thank you to everyone who gave twigs some generous points.

I'd also like to commiserate Persephonia, Lookylion, and Sovarasma who narrowly missed out on points from me.

Actually I was there just last month after also narrowly escaping the semi death by 1 point. It’s not that great, I’d take a wooden spoon tbh x

I was going to turn down hosting due to my fear of spreadsheets, but @Addy! convinced me not to. I decided to email my actual accountant (not Clementina the drag queen) and explain what this was, and what I needed. He made the spreadsheets, formulas, even put together some stats for me, all I did was enter the votes and format things to look pretty. I actually was the one that told him to change his correct (per the wiki) formula on the tiebreaks, despite me being loud and wrong x

I have no shame anymore
