Olivia Rodrigo is entering the race for the Christmas No.1. The US artist has confirmed details of her first ever festive single, Take Me Home (4 Christmas), released via Polydor/Interscope.

The brand-new original track arrives on Friday November 6, officially putting the four-time UK chart-topper among this year's potential Christmas Number 1 contenders.

Arriving on Friday November 13, the festive single was recorded last winter, months before the Welsh music legend passed away in July 2026, aged 75.

  • Songs won’t be reset yet. And as Spotify streams from Halloween aren’t counted yet, Halloween songs won’t do as well as we would imagine.

  • fucking hell why can't we have songs not constantly dodge ACR against my estimations

Wonder if they’ll reset any of the Halloween associated ones ie disturbia or if they will do the same as what they do for Christmas. Must be a bit harder to categorise “Halloween songs” database wise than it is Christmas songs as there’s plenty of regular pop songs that are Halloween leaning but not specifically

The top few Halloween songs got reset as would any normal song last year, the seasonal exception is only for Christmas songs.

Come on Editors, no one has ever heard of The Snuts!

As much as I would like to have not heard of them (they have some decent songs but a truly horrific band name x), The Snuts' first 3 albums all made the top 3, they're quite an established chart force by this point. (For exactly 1 week per album ofc)

Well not really because she's bringing it out a month too soon for Christmas number 1 and will surely disappoint me by yet again not quite getting there.

'Psycho Killer' charting at least for the midweeks we love to see <3 doubt it'll be high enough to get noticed for a reset so I assume it'll drop out but we can pray x

The Queen's of the Stone Age album sounding very good on first listen. Its a pity acts like that cannot have hit singles anymore. Also, wouldn't it be wonderful to have the Halloween movie theme finally in the Top 100 charts?

Both tracks are out in November, Bonnie Tyler a week later as posted on OCC site as well.

OCC updated the midweek charts on time on their website! 😮

Halloween - everything aside from Thriller is on ACR

#2 - Thriller

#8 - Ghostbusters

#10 - Monster Mash

#11 - Somebody's Watching Me

#13 - This Is Halloween

#14 - Spooky, Scary Skeletons

#45 - Disturbia

#63 - Time Warp

#66 (NEW) - "Halloween" Theme

#68 - Bloody Mary

#69 - Maneater

#70 (NEW) - The Addams Family

#75 - Heads Will Roll

#76 (NEW) - Psycho Killer ❤️

#80 - Everybody (Backstreet's Back)

#82 - Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)

#94 (NEW) - Super Freak

I would guess all of those in the top 40 today will be reset and stay there, while all those outside the top 40 (i.e. 'Disturbia' downwards) won't be reset and drop out of the top 100 by Friday.

'Disturbia' I imagine gets a pretty strong baseline of streams regardless of Halloween so might have a decent chance to get a reset as well. (I guess 'Dracula' should maybe get a reset too?)

also one more which may be of note...

#94 (RE) - DANCE... by Slayyter! ❤️

Plus Zombie and Dracula.

That is all of the Halloween day streaming counted now - so ‘Thriller’ won’t make it to number 1. The other songs will decline as the week goes on, apart from those that end up getting a reset. Therefore, I wouldn’t be surprised if that is mostly just the ones that are currently in the top 40 of the Chart Update, and possibly ‘Disturbia’.

The others will probably have all fallen out by the end of the week, and won’t get reset either.

‘Zombie’ will be the anomaly. I can’t imagine it would get a reset, but it will still stay strong in the top 75. That’s my prediction anyway.
