I love the original The Big Sky so was hesitant for a remix, but this definitely does it justice. Just Can't Get Enough has actually never been a big favourite of mine from Depeche Mode (too fluffy for the band that made Personal Jesus), but this remix adds a new kind of ominous feel to it which I'm really into, it's almost like the optimism and positivity of the original is a facade for what comes later, that was a great find <3

Seventeen Going Under was hard to rank amongst all these much as I like it, I guess middle feels about right.

Wish Sophie had sent Heartbreak Make Me a Dancer, that was giftwrapped for a round like this! This was a good round though, even though I was hesitant, nothing I disliked x

I have no idea what M83 would've sent for this, maybe something from Junk as that reflected a more disco/dancefloor-esque sound than what they usually do, either Solitude or this one (if just for the cute video alone x)

I bet Heartbreak Make Me A Dancer is being kept for the final. Maybe I'm wrong but it seems like her most popular besides Murder and a certain other.

I mean at this stage Heartbreak is def being saved for the final, it's easily in her top three best / most commercial (loved) songs and one of them has been used!

Depeche Mode have two remix albums stretching across five CDs so I'm not sure that Just Can't Get Enough needed to be used at this stage but at least it should see them comfortably through. For New Order's Confusion, I would have preferred the 1983 12 inch version or maybe The Perfect Kiss or Fine Time. I don't think there was any need to send a remix of anything but it seems to be doing OK. The Bananarama song was a good discovery and I think that 5th place is the highest I've put Sam Fender so far, I've probably only heard his song once, at the Sunday synctube sessions.

I must admit, I had completely forgotten a) that Omen existed, and b) that I used to call it the 'singing toilet song' because of the line 'you were waiting, I was vacant' - certainly unlocked a memory there!

1. New Order - Confusion (Pump Panel Reconstruction Mix) (Blade - the daywalker. It is raining blood! Confusion! Awesome!)

2. Darin - Give Me Tonight (this has a nice euro-vibe, sounds a bit like a classic Cappella tune)

3. Depeche Mode - Just Can't Get Enough (Schizo Mix) (classic DeMo sounds - love it!)

4. Bananarama - Now or Never (nice euro vibe)

5. Adele - Hometown Glory (High Contrast Remix) (nice Drum & Bass Remix, good late night drive)

6. Sophie Ellis-Bextor & Wuh Oh - Hypnotized (this is nice enough)

7. MARINA - Radioactive (i find that her voice not works that well with this kind of production)

8. Kate Bush - The Big Sky (Meteorological Mix) (OK, but not great)

12. Fontaines D.C. - In ár gCroíthe go deo (Orbital Remix) (does not work for me, production somewhat OK, but the vocals does not connect to it)
