February 7, 200817 yr Glad Wet Wet Wet are out of the top 5 :) Timbaland's singles always seem to start with a week in the lower top 40 before surging upwards in the following couple of weeks
February 7, 200817 yr I'm a newbie to this fine site, and I'm quite sad to see that Wet Wet Wet's new single "Weightless" seemingly has fallen from No. 4 to "between 6 & 10", in the space of one day. Can't you give the boys a wee chance? They have constantly, for the last 20 years or so, given the British, (& European) public what they want.. White, blue eyed soul with a hint of jazz, country and now rock thrown in for good measure. MORE power to The Wets, I say Edited February 7, 200817 yr by Steel-River-Bhoy

February 7, 200817 yr Welcome to buzzjack Steel-River-Bhoy, I'm sorry to say I never liked the Wets but I can appreciate they were always one of the better male groups in their day.
February 7, 200817 yr Thank you for the welcome Suggy. If we all liked the same tastes in music, the world would be a VERY boring place. Dontcha think? But sorry I gotta disagree with your words, "in their day". The Wets have just played to over 70,000 people in the UK last December (2007), and were the ONLY Live band to play ANYwhere in Scotland on New Years Eve 2006 going into 2007, (45,000 people at Aberdeen). They also sold 18,000 tickets for a gig at Newmarket racecourse, on 17th. August last year. Not bad for a band that has had their day. Is it? Edited February 7, 200817 yr by Steel-River-Bhoy

February 7, 200817 yr Considering their last single was a flop I'd say they're getting a very big chance this time Relatively speaking, I gotta agree with you ManicKang. The Wets last single, "Too Many People", (released last Nov.) came in at 46..without a bullet. LOL..and then rocketed straight back out again, the following week. I'm pretty sure, this new one is gonna do a hellova lot better. Edited February 7, 200817 yr by Steel-River-Bhoy
February 7, 200817 yr glad david jordan and rihanna have climbed, hope they can both knock Adele down

February 7, 200817 yr I've seen marti Pellow live in 'Chicago' an I know he's a very good vocalist. However, I'm just not interested in Wet Wet Wet's music. I don't think generation has that much to do with it, especially not appreciating a good voice anyway.
February 7, 200817 yr oooo the feeling are getting closer to top 10 and i want sarah cracknell to get there too for anyone who's interested wet wet wet have fell 3 today :P
February 7, 200817 yr I suspect Feeling and Sarah Cracknell will be just missing out on the top 10 this week, but next week they'll be near-certainties.
February 8, 200817 yr I hope Rihanna can overtake David Jordan and Adele because this song deserves a higher peak! But they dragged it out for too long! They should havbe bought the release date forward bout 2 or 3 weeks, then a deffo number 1! But Oh Well! Looks like the Feeling and Goldfrapp will have to knock Basshunter off for us! :D (Preferably Goldfrapp) God i cannot believe I am saying that Goldfrapp deserve a number 1! haha!
