August 7, 200816 yr A bit soon! I don't know If I can be arsed to take interest in it this year. (Although I'll probably end up watching it, and then getting into it. -_-)
August 7, 200816 yr I can't believe I have to see Cheryl on screen every week if I choose tro watch this :( Can't stand that woman. An even worse choice than Fannii.
August 8, 200816 yr 'X Factor' judges tip groups for success Thursday, August 7 2008, 11:29 BST By Daniel Kilkelly, Entertainment Reporter X Factor judges Louis Walsh and Cheryl Cole have become convinced that a group will win this year's series. After sitting through a number of impressive auditions from bands, the pair have named the 'groups' category as their top choice to mentor. "There are a few bands which are really hot this year," an insider told the Daily Star. "Louis and Cheryl think if they get them, they can win. They've been dropping hints." A group has yet to win the ITV1 talent competition, which returns for a fifth series on August 16.
August 8, 200816 yr I hope a group wins this year but hopefully we will have a better winner than last year.
August 10, 200816 yr ooh. Nikk from Phixx has auditioned for this years X Factor and apparently Chris Park (another member of Phixx has as well! Its a Popstars The Rivals Bonanza!
August 11, 200816 yr I think we could do with a mixed group but we could also do with another Boy band i spose and I spose another Girl group to challenge Girls Aloud and Sugas would be nice too ^_^
August 11, 200816 yr http://i35.tinypic.com/2hhnps5.jpg :cheer: Starts 16th August, And the judges are http://i34.tinypic.com/aviuqs.jpg Why do the back two seem so 2D? Apologies for being so bad when it comes to graphics :P I don't think i can be bothered to watch this year, far too repetitive. -_-
August 11, 200816 yr I'll land up watching, even if the show is old hat. In the audition rounds - watch this be the formula: Deluded wannabee - a run of no's - good singer - a run of yes's - an oddball - male/female on a journey or had a tragedy e.g. goldfish died - they become successful to the 2nd round. Expect the stereotypical gay guy every week too *rolleyes* Do ITV think we are idiots? Why not a week in each city e.g. London, Birmingham, Glasgow etc and mix and match it. Not have it "Good for TV". I suppose if the winner is bad and helped out by political voting - e.g. Leon expect the song to be Christmas #1 :( Simon Cowell - the Vladmir Putin of the music industry. Whatever he wants - he gets. Wouldn't surprise me if he pays the chart company money to keep that song as the Christmas #1. Edited August 11, 200816 yr by Besmilliah
August 15, 200816 yr There're some videos up on the X Factor website, some featuring Cheryl  Gonna be nice watching ^_^
