October 2, 200817 yr It looks like Oasis might lose the second place because the gap between them and Kings Of Leon are decreasing in singles. Yup, even with big Saturday physical sales, Oasis are going to be struggling to hold onto the #2 spot by Sunday - they were 20.2% in the Tuesday mids but only 2.1% ahead in today's mids. I think KoL will be #2 in tomorrow's mids and it will depend on whether Oasis can catch back up on Saturday, having lost even more ground from the Friday sales too.
October 2, 200817 yr This means Sugababes have a real chance at #1 next week. I plan to buy several copies of Girls. Unfortunately I can't see Girls being #1 next week with all these big names and older huge hits stuck in the chart... but I think they can be top3!

October 2, 200817 yr If were talking about who deserves no.1 most, surely should'nt it be the artist that has actually bothered to promote the single (in Pinks case coming over from America)?! Thats more deserving than not even bothering to film a proper video and not promoting on any tv shows, just doing what they want (touring) and expecting their skivvys to buy the track! I didn't say Oasis deserve to be #1, I said I'd rather they were and that I quite like the Pink song too, so I don't see why you're getting so defensive :mellow: And I wouldn't say it's not a 'proper video'. I think it's one of the best at the moment. Really creative and very appropriate to tie in with the artwork for this era. And I don't want to cause an argument :drama: If you weren't talking to me then ignore everything above :kink:
