How the hell can a guy like daniel still be in and Laura is out? She is an awesome singer, looking at her VT which looks back, you see her great voice. Simon has to sign her still... :P She should have went last year and beat that scotchy, that kid cant sing a note

The housewives/elderly people will be voting for Eoghan/Daniel, that's why they're still both in. We may not like them but sadly they have their fanbase.

Absolutely. Building on what Feel_the_fever just said, Purple Rain and Knocking On Heaven's Dorr weren't just two of the best performances of the series, they were THE two best performances of the series.

Dannii will be doing Ruth a huge disservice if she doesn't start giving Ruth songs for her to really sink her teeth into. If we had performances like that every week in the main show, Ruth would easily be making her way into the final, no question.

It just bugs me how if given the chance they ALWAYS pick slow songs. Mariah has some great uptempos and instead they picked songs that weren't even originally hers :wacko:

Mart!n - Louis voted Laura off because no matter what else we think of him ... he has more balls than Simon! If they had asked for decisions from left to right ... you can bet your bottom dollar Simon 'Jellyfish' Cowell would have taken the coward's way out (like he did the last time he was in this position) and let it go to the public vote. As it happens ... Louis made the right choice. Of the two final songs ... at least I recognised what Ruth was singing.

If Ruth sang to that standard every week I could see her winning the whole contest.

It’s sad but having a great voice isn’t enough to progress on the x factor, like Scott and Austin, Laura showed little personality and looked glum at the slightest criticism. The ones staying in are the ones who are smiling and making vote 4 me gestures at the camera not looking like a rabbit in headlights.

 

Daniel has got Chris Moyles running a campaign to keep him in to p*** of Simon and Louis, notice how Simon didn’t lay in to him this week.

 

Rachel is wrongly perceived to have an attitude problem so her vulnerable side shown tonight may have done her some favours.

 

On the Diana issue, considering Laura went tonight was it really FAIR just to give her a bye into the next week? I wonder if had Daniel had laryngitis would he have been treated the same? Not to mention there were Diana supporters spreading votes to acts who wouldn’t have got those votes if she had performed if you know what I mean.

Ruth and Diana are the two that I really like.

I haven't found the others (exept perhaps also Alexandria) that engaging.
