October 28, 200817 yr X Factor single is obviously selling well this week but will probably decline alot next week. I really hope it isnt the best selling single of the year. Its absymal.
October 28, 200817 yr 01 Pink 37.1k 02 Snow Patrol 34.6k Thanks mart!n those sales are close :o i hope SP can overtake
October 28, 200817 yr I hope X Factor Finalists has a sudden decline next week Geraldine/Leon style. It doesn't deserve to stop far superior songs by Leona and Britney to the top. :(
October 28, 200817 yr 01 Pink 37.1k 02 Snow Patrol 34.6k Great first day for pink :w00t: I've just checked the archive and I'm Not Dead sold 39,892 in it's first week - so Funhouse looks set to topple that. I also read that Try This sold 60k in it's first week - hopefully she'll beat that too :w00t: Edited October 28, 200817 yr by Glyn
October 28, 200817 yr "100,000 Idiots"- what a great name for a band , I think that's what my band's name will be! :D. Edited October 28, 200817 yr by Marcus
October 28, 200817 yr Author More sales info: Singles: 2 Girls Aloud (25.4k) 10 Jennifer Hudson (5.2k) 11 Sash! (5.1k) Albums 6 Celine Dion (8.7k) 9 The Saturdays (7.1k) care of vivalaradio at haven
October 28, 200817 yr Pink no1 album :cheer: Beating snow patrol, thats impressive. The "album sellers" arent really selling albums lately are they :D Well, Snow Patrol's singles performances bar CC, has been pretty bland in comparison, it was on the cards for them really.
October 28, 200817 yr Lets see who sells more in the long run :) The singles chart is an absolute disgrace  This is a SONG chart -_- It always has been, ever since the 2007 rule changes, it's been slow and boring.
October 28, 200817 yr More sales info: Singles: 2 Girls Aloud (25.4k) OMG Girls Aloud are selling more than last week :o :o :o They should pass the 140k mark in only two weeks :w00t: :cheer:
October 28, 200817 yr Don't ask if you only intend to gloat. :( Agreed, it's totally childish behaviour on all counts.
October 28, 200817 yr Jennifer Hudson rising because of the death of her mum and brother..I do feel sorry for her. Very sorry for her, but I am surprised that this has made Spotlight climb to the Top 10 again, if this is the reason.
October 28, 200817 yr Im hoping that snow patrol will overtake pink... the album is not good. the last album of her was great and sold 40K in a week, FH doesn't need to sell this much at all.
October 28, 200817 yr Im hoping that snow patrol will overtake pink... the album is not good. the last album of her was great and sold 40K in a week, FH doesn't need to sell this much at all. Well, to be fair, the reviews I've read of the Snow Patrol album haven't been great, and their current single is just good rather than great. But there have been a fair few mediocre reviews for the Pink album as well, but she had a better lead single - it seems as neither of them have produced a really great album
October 28, 200817 yr I don't think Dido will care how many singles she sells - all her fans are waiting for the album and this is simply an early warning to them to look out their iTunes passwords or to remember to nip into HMV on the way to Markies since basically none of them are habitual music buyers. Sugababes must be doing badly - I've got it on e-bay auction at the moment at £0.99 (see my sig) and I still don't have even one bid yet! Edited October 28, 200817 yr by richie
October 28, 200817 yr oh no just what we need a lazy karaoke manipulative cover version at #1! syco simon....i bet he is making money from the physical single too cause its £3.99 when he could have easily sold it for £2.99 to cover cost and the donation to charity. dido has lost momentum over the years, its a combination of things like the big gap between albums and her low profile. her record company obviously see her as a album seller and they may be focusing on the US (to bring in the big money) more than the UK. its over for leon, he just doesn't have what it takes.....no legs as many predicted. totally reality fanbase driven which is not a good thing cause they are a fickle lot (teenage girls fancy him, the mothers want to mother him). thats his fanbase. its never about the music with acts like him! he has no individuality (which is crucial in this business)...simon wants to package him as a UK version of michael buble but he has no charisma, neverous/unsure stage presence, his voice and image doesn't suit his looks and age. being sweet looking and shy just doesn't cut it!
October 28, 200817 yr Could be a X-Factor Finalists/Girls Aloud lock-in this week and next week for the top two. So much for the "battle of the divas". Edited October 28, 200817 yr by 6weeksatnumber7
October 28, 200817 yr I hope X Factor Finalists has a sudden decline next week Geraldine/Leon style. It doesn't deserve to stop far superior songs by Leona and Britney to the top. :( I think it will. After this weeks X-Factor performance, there will be a sudden rush for that single and hopefully Heroes will be forgotten about. (Unless The Sun insists on promoting it for 'their boys'. :puke2: How patronizing!)
October 28, 200817 yr Great first day for pink :w00t: I've just checked the archive and I'm Not Dead sold 39,892 in it's first week - so Funhouse looks set to topple that. I also read that Try This sold 60k in it's first week - hopefully she'll beat that too :w00t: Really? Those are REALLY low first week sales for P!nk, don't you mean first day? More sales info: Singles: 2 Girls Aloud (25.4k) 10 Jennifer Hudson (5.2k) 11 Sash! (5.1k) care of vivalaradio at haven I think GA have a chance of getting 75k again. The top 10 should all easily get over 15k again too, maybe all over 18k. It always has been, ever since the 2007 rule changes, it's been slow and boring. But its getting much faster. :D
