Martin, could you tell me if Girls Aloud's TU and/or SOGA are top 40 in the albums chart?

Having heard the new albums from P!nk and Snow Patrol I was left feeling very disappointed by both.

 

For me Funhouse is about as much fun as a home game at Southampton football club. Snow Patrol's new album is a hundred million miles away from the brilliance of Eyes Open and only the lead single sounds good and fresh, I have to say that working at Woolies gives me certain advantages!!!!

 

Then again, maybe I need to hear then both again to apprecite them but I won't hold my hopes up.

 

On a positive note The Saturdays album is great, very electro and poppy, very good!!!!

 

Shame X Factor are number one though, I've lost count how many of those cd's i sold in the last 2 days......

Katy Perry just missed the top 5, actually the top 12 singles are the same as yesterday, and the top 10 albums, only change is KOL and BP swapping places, her album on the other hand is down 8 places

 

Miley and PCD are not top 40 otherwise I would have posted them, I'm assuming she is just outside the top 40, she is on Jonathan Woss show on Friday, that's if JW has still got a job to present :lol: ;)

The X Factor single was not released last week so that X Factor judge Cheryl could be #1, while Leona (Simon Cowell's protege) is released next week and she'll probably be #1 as she has the sales potential to out-sell the 2nd week of release of the Hero single. There was talk a few weeks ago about Leona releasing at least digitally this week, but that was changed.

Their Mariah Carey cover sold four times as many as Girls Aloud at No 2, with other Top 40 new entries due by The View, Akon and Adele.

 

Pink is outselling Snow Patrol by 3,000 for No 1 album, with other Top 10 new entries by Bloc Party, Celine Dion, Daniel O'Donnell and The Saturdays.
