October 28, 200817 yr P!nk's album is great. If anything sh deserves a no.1 album after this long purely cos I'm Not Dead and Mizzundaztood never made it. I bought it on Monday and will got buy Anastacia's today-which incidently, without promotion is only two places lower than Freak Of Nature entered at. As for Dido-lack of effort is what makes her deserve this. I love the single and bought it but there has been NO promotion. Lets hope they pull out all stops for the album.
October 28, 200817 yr Author I think GA have a chance of getting 75k again. The top 10 should all easily get over 15k again too, maybe all over 18k. They did 24.6 last Tues, mind you that was frontloaded, they seem to have gained on last weeks, but that's with 2 days sales instead of 1 day last week.

The download were available from Sunday, so it's kinda the same. Most music retailers aren't open on Sundays anyway, so it doesn't make a big difference that the physical CD was available from Monday only. Plus they had all the pre-orders to be added to the first day of sales.

October 28, 200817 yr Last week the album Debuted at #10 with 5 new entries above it. This week, its also #10 in the mids, with 6 new entries above it Amazing staying power, if it was a gentle week for new releases, it would be zooming towards the top5.

October 28, 200817 yr no shock with number 1 but im delighted girls aloud are off to a strong start sales wise again this week so it should sell at least 50,000 again this week.. I didnt expect Pink to be ahead of snow patrol in the album so come sunday i hop ethey switch position,,still i think both albums will go on to sell alot of album but snow patrol will sell more in the long run. im also happily surprised to see sash holding on firmly enough in both charts,, Finally i hope celine dion makes the top 5 in the album chart
