November 18, 200817 yr Author I hate to say this but Leona has had her time with her album at #1, I prefer to see Dido at #1, I don't understand why artists have to release deluxe editions just for extra tracks, especially with 2 tracks, it seems a waste of money, I have no intention of buying Duffy's Deluxe Edition, I can download them to my iTunes. And as a sidenote just don't go attacking or bashing members because of their own interest of certain acts. Its just annoying reading the same thing week after week.
November 18, 200817 yr *sigh* People eating the giant spoon that comes through the TV when X Factor is on again :rolleyes: I thought the way Katy Perry took the p*** out of how boring Leona is was perfect the other day :lol: "I'm going back to Mariah Carey now" :rofl: Have no idea why people bought that album after listening to all of it in the first place let alone a re-issue with two more songs on just a cover a great song with added Leona style oversinging! Katy Perry loves Leona, in her own words she is "obsessed" with her. She wasn't taking the p*ss, it's her sense of humour. People can call Leona boring all they like but it's about the music at the end of the day and her music connects with people. Loads of people loved her performance on Saturday and if they're willing to pay for her deluxe album (whether they own the original version or not) than that's their choice. November 18, 200817 yr Mart!n - in Dave's 'almost Saturday' thread a few days ago there was mention of TT's Ultimate Collection being in the chart again - am I right in thinking that that's incorrect now (I thought it may be - as I've not heard tell of a re-issue on any TT related site). It's entirely a record company thing - album sales are so low that they have to squeeze every last drop of blood out of the stone. Apparently it's standard policy now for all major Universal releases as well as other majors like Sony following suit. The argument they use is that with so much illegal downloading going on, they have to keep back some material for a second burst of sales.

November 18, 200817 yr A massive HA to Beyonce's album flopping! :lol: Hopefully that takes the arrogant cow down a peg or two. :D On the other hand, how did N-Dubz get a top 5 album? :mellow: That's almost as embarassing as the prospect of Beyonce being there. It looks like a close battle this week for #1 in both the albums and singles, I think Beyonce will be #1 in the singles on Sunday but it's hard to say for the albums. Dido will be face ridicule if Leona's re-issue beats her though. :(

November 18, 200817 yr I totally understand :lol: although it's the name that's a bit harsh. But Dido fans are just as bad saying things like, "Leona 'Boring' Lewis" which is kinda ironic coming from a Dido fan! I won't go to name calling an artist like some people on here. Like calling dido "Dildo" etc... I used to do that when I was about 12 :lol: I personally think Dido is Dull and Boring (and so do many others) and it just makes me laugh when all them fans are saying that Leona's Boring :mellow: but yeah if Leona's tracks WERE available to download (Legally) then I'm sure that the album would only be at about 5 or 6 but because it's NOT available for download there are fans that will ensure they have a copy (Just to complete their Leona stuff etc...) which is why it's Number 2 and apparently only 500 copies behind. Because it's so close Dido and Leona fans are just clashing. Also, I am annoyed that I can't download 'Run' yet. But I think it is very clever of Sony to do what they have. It just makes me laugh with some people saying "if Leona beats Dido then I will HATE her" etc.. It's like don't blame Leona, blame her management if you are really against it :lol: It is the management I have a problem with-certainly not Leona herself. I'm not really a fan of her but the only thing I find boring is the fact that its the same album a year later. Yes, it has more tracks but still. If it was a new album, I'd more than understand why everyone is buying it. But it isn't.
