The only people interested are the core fanbase who are want the b-sides too so are buying it as a bundle (counts to the album chart) instead!

 

And even then they're all complaining because they've chucked a bunch of poor remixes on as b-sides rather than having original songs. I don't think I've ever seen such antipathy amongst Oasis fans for a single release.

iTunes have f*** all impact on the album charts. The singles chart however is a different story, the iTunes chart is a very good indication of what will be top 40

How come when The Tings Tings made top 40 on itunes they didn't appear in the main Chart with Shut Up and Let me Go?

 

They managed to get to #26 or so...

 

But it didn't chart on the sunday?

 

Was that just because singles were ahead of it come Sunday or can the record labels pull songs out of the top 40?
