'Shadow' is my online name franchise sort of thing, I have a racing team, 'Team Shadow Subaru' and countless others which I've used for years so the Kingdom of Shadow seemed an appropriate name. 'Shadow' originally came from the fact that I have really dark hair like my old dog, Max, who was nicknamed Shadow.

Lorikeets are actually a type of Parrot, i have an interest in parrots and i'd quite like to own some one day plus it was really the first thing that came into my mind.

Erm.........not sure it was a random decision to choose Dalisska. :P

 

I had other ideas like Rovida and Ryvoda. Plus I was going to Call my Country Lyndra and have it's capital city be Dalisska but I changed it around after I posted it.

 

I'm so glad I picked the name Dalisska though. :wub:

I've always wondered it that was the case. :lol: I knew a Parakeet was a type of bird, but I didn't know about Lorikeets.

 

I can't say I have a meaning behind Quotosibb, it's just a random name I came up with. :lol: I could say it's an anagram for "So Bob quit" or "Boobs quit" to make it more interesting, but that wasn't my inspiration. -_-

Bare and Naked Gardens : is an anagram of BANG.

 

BANG is my display name on here..

 

but my actual display name came from no where, BANG was just a word I chose as it was quite "in yerr face" and easy to remember.:wub:

Ashton is a totally random name that just came to me. Like my cities names are usually made up on the spur of the moment.

 

My former name, Fotherington Island, came from the fact i liked the look on the map of the island on the old map. Fotherington was random.

 

Officially, the name Ashton comes from the territories of Ashworth and Fotherington.

I worked a bit backwards :lol: I started designing my flag first, and I ended up with three triangles together, and that brought up Trio, and I thought it had a Greek smell, so I added dopolis on the end :lol:

A Greek smell? :lol:

 

And for the record, dopolis would indicate it to be a city :kink: I prefer to call it the Triodopolitan/Triodopolite Republic :heehee:

when I was thinking about my country name I wanted to find a word with -ia because it sounds like a country (Albania, Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia....Sangria :kink: ). And I like sangria :D

 

I read that in some parts of southern Spain sangria is called zurra...so the capital is Zurratown :D

I wanted something celtic/gaelic with a slight Skandanavian influence sounding :P because there wasn't any really like that. So i took a random hamlet's name in the Scottish Highlands on google maps :lol:

Juranaland = juranamo land :D

 

Juranabaijan = juranamo + Azerbaijan
