November 30, 200817 yr Grami. :o Do you not remember 'We Ride'? :P I liked 'We Ride' :( 'Rehab' just reminds me of that hideous Justin Timberlake record it rips off and as I said, it's so lifeless. I think Rihanna is great and every one of her singles has been brilliant but this is just one too many. I'd even listen to the Maroon 5 collabaration over 'Rehab' :heehee:
November 30, 200817 yr The have had 3 top 30 hits now, so as much as I dislike them, they are not one hit wonders. I was speaking to three "chavs" in my local (public house) who are "big up" into N-Dubz as they think they "is well amaze" when watching the X-Factor results last night. Unsurprisingly all three of them want Alexandra to win.
November 30, 200817 yr McFly :( They had so many better songs than this to release! Is Children In Need a curse now? :o
November 30, 200817 yr Off-topic: Leona's Run is #1 on iTunes! :cheer: Back on topic: This McFly song is terrible.
November 30, 200817 yr No, there is no real definition of a 'hit' - you could say anything in the top 75 is a hit (but I would include top 40 personally). I think it's if a song hasn't reached the heights (or similar) of their most successful charting single. For example McFly have entered Top 20 with their new one, and MANY class it as a flop because they expect them to reach Top 10 (Do you get what I mean ) But like you said there's no proper definition of a 'Hit'
November 30, 200817 yr I hope this means the end of McFly now. Surely they can't fund themselves on their own label forever? I don't really know a lot about record companies and such but if they're flopping hard one can only hope.
November 30, 200817 yr Will hopefully make McFly have a think and relerase something better like Lies. Do Ya & One For The Radio are the worst songs on their album. What were they thinking? Down Goes Another One, Corrupted, Everybody Knows, POV, Falling In Love... anything like that please!
November 30, 200817 yr Author Off-topic: Leona's Run is #1 on iTunes! :cheer: Back on topic: This McFly song is terrible. LOL. Good news for Leona, and you are quite right about McFly.
November 30, 200817 yr 17 (from 13) Kings Of Leon - Sex On Fire [P] http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/88697352002.JPG Chart Run: 1-1-1-2-2-4-4-5-11-13-13-17 [12 wks] Release date: 15-9-2008 Availability: in stock Number of Discs: 1 Catalogue Number: 88697352002 Label: COLUMBIA Though Tennessee's Kings of Leon are a rock band from the south, that doesn't mean they're a Southern Rock band. The Followill brothers Caleb, Jared, and Nathan (along with their cousin Matthew) play a straight-ahead, hard-driving brand of rock & roll that owes more to Crazy Horse and the Rolling Stones than it does to Molly Hatchet. Their debut album, 2003's YOUTH & YOUNG MANHOOD showed them to be an earthier equivalent to garage-rock contemporaries like the White Stripes and the Strokes. - HMV Video here: Chart history (Year peak title): 2003 53 Holy Roller Novocaine EP 2003 22 What I Saw EP 2003 23 Molly's Chambers 2003 51 Wasted Time 2004 61 California Waiting 2004 16 The Bucket 2005 24 Four Kicks 2005 41 King Of The Rodeo 2007 18 On Call 2007 13 Fans 2008 01 Sex On Fire 2008 17 Use Somebody Album Discussion

Unsurprisingly all three of them want Alexandra to win. Think she hasa brilliant voice and personality but it'll be like Leona part 2. Now the amazing Ruth has gone I guess I'll have to back Alexandra though. Damn public.

November 30, 200817 yr Haha, it isn't the end for McFly. Especially when they can still sell arena tickets. Tbh, I'm kind of glad it didn't go top 10. That's the pressure out of the window. They should be doing what they did with Lies a lot more too, releasing the download before the CD singles.
November 30, 200817 yr wow go run and the mcfly is DEFINITELY not one of the WORST songs ever, cool urself bro...they're a bad band but they're songs are mild to OK

November 30, 200817 yr as far as I know songs that reached the top 40 are defined as a hit. So Ms Cilmi is actually a TWO hit WondeR? :kink:
