Though Tennessee's Kings of Leon are a rock band from the south, that doesn't mean they're a Southern Rock band. The Followill brothers Caleb, Jared, and Nathan (along with their cousin Matthew) play a straight-ahead, hard-driving brand of rock & roll that owes more to Crazy Horse and the Rolling Stones than it does to Molly Hatchet. Their debut album, 2003's YOUTH & YOUNG MANHOOD showed them to be an earthier equivalent to garage-rock contemporaries like the White Stripes and the Strokes. - HMV

I'll be buying Killers new album tomorrow :D Sounds a bit too poppy but I love their previous releases (excluding 'Bones') so I'll give Day & Night few listens ;)

Yeah it's their most commercial, but I still love it!

VISIT THE KILLERS FORUM EVERYBODY :kink:

Use Somebody gets better with every listen  I'm warming up to their album slightly too :o :drama:
And I'm shocked that Kanye didn;t manage to stay in the top 10 albums!

the competition in that market is scary....the U.S. seriously has like one or two big albums each week

Boy, this is a shock first Madonna and now McFly will miss the top 10 for the first time ever with this song. Maybe the should have done the ELO song from the 70s instead.

They definitely should have it is a brilliant song:

Kanye West first gained fame as an acclaimed hip-hop producer, working with Jay-Z, Foxy Brown, Mase, and others. West's solo debut was delayed due to a serious car accident, but when THE COLLEGE DROPOUT finally appeared in 2004, it took the hip-hop world by storm with its combination of old-school R&B samples, inventive contemporary production, and clever rhymes. And while West continued to churn out hot tracks for a bevy of artists, popping up in the credits of what seemed to be an impossible number of CDs, he was still able to continue his run of critically and commericially successful releases, 2005's LATE REGISTRATION and 2007's GRADUATION, and become the undisputed King of Hip-Hop in the '00s. - HMV

It's been stupid this year. The albums market has completly collasped imo due to the credit crunch amongst other things but also all the artists waiting until now to release all at once meant that the rest of the year was absolutely barren for big new releases. :/

Woah for Guru Josh Project the success never fails to impress me :o
I am so happy Mcfly aren't top 10! Finally, they can't just rely on their fanbase (however small it is) to get them in the top 10 and then drop like a brick in later weeks. Will this even be top 40 next week?

they have had no prromotion for this single and it was decided as the official cin 3 weeks before children in need

I like this song I heard it in Benidorm for the first time when I was there last week, is it getting a UK release?

Don't try dislike the song, just dislike the video!

I actually think the video is pretty decent and I have great respect for Tim Burton so it's not the video why I dislike "Bones". I simply think the song is awful.. anyway. I don't want to turn this into Killers' thread. I'll definitely be visiting their forum here though.. ;)

Love Lockdown

Gotta get his new album this week, a friend of mine drunkenly said how much he loved it and it's his fave album of the year so I'm going by his word

Hence why your favourite (Duffy :kink:) has the biggest selling album of the year :heehee:

And this KanYe song is boring me so much now :(
