In answer to the question re: how long you can RESERVE one artist for, you may as well confirm after a week seeing as you're allowed a change - I don't think it's necessarily that bad to restrict people to a sensible amount of changes. After all, one can feel very decisive about these things only for something else to come along! :P Anyway, I feel with the main cause of these changes (the odds thread) being restricted until the beginning of the competition, it won't be as bad as it has been.
