Ashlee Simpson - Boys... and the rest of the 'Bitterswet world' album which was a masterpiece in my opinion.

Madonna - Miles away which is miles better Than the lame '4 Minutes'

Kylie - the One

Duffy- Rain On Your Parade : This not being the James Bond theme was a crime against humanity

Annie - Loco

Sugababes- No Can Do : One of the best singles released this year

Cyndi Lauper- Into the nightlife : amazing dancefloor anthem, completly ignored

Adele - Cold Shoulder : this should've been top 5 at least

Estelle - Come Over and No Substitute Love !!!!

Natasha Bedingfield - pocketful of sunshine : why this song hasn't been released in the UK still eludes me!!!!

Agreed, had this amazing album been recorded by a more credible artist, then it probably would have been more sucsessful.

Also Rehab definatly didnt flop, to reach #17 as a 7th single which is a download only from a million selling album is actually quite an accomplishment.

ooh yeah I agree!

janet jackson - feedback

ROBYN - DREAM ON (what an amazing track, so beautiful)

gabriella cilmi - save the lies

mariah - I'll be lovin' you long time

chris brown - superhuman

Anastacia-I Can Feel You

Dido-Don't Believe In Love

They weren't their best tracks but neither of them deserved to flop that badly. No exposure or promotion was the reason for these flops I think.

Anastacia-I Can Feel You

Dido-Don't Believe In Love

Kylie - The One

Sandi Thom _ Devils Beat

Alanis Morissette - Underneath

Alanis Morissette - In Praise Of The Vulnerable Man

Ashlee Simpson - Boys...

Annie - Loco

Natasha Bedingfield - pocketful of sunshine : why this song hasn't been released in the UK still eludes me!!!!

These 3 weren't even released. Yes I am aware you said so regarding Natasha Bedingfield, but how does that deem it a flop exactly?

Solange - "I Decided" and "Sandcastle Disco".

Brandy - "Right Here (Departed)" and "Long Distance"

Melee - Built To Last & Sandi Thom - The Devils Beat were my two major flops that shouldn't have happened :(

Why did radio not cling to them :(

Anastacia DID promotion though I think ;)

True, but she got very little radio exposure.

the whole emc² era wasn't that successful in 2008 in UK.. I mean back in 2005 Mariah sold over a million albums got 2 double platinum albums.. and emc² only sold 120,000 copies to date (as much as charmbracelet).. and only touch my body sold over 100,000 copies..

its still the ebst r&B album of 2008

Melee - Built To Last & Sandi Thom - The Devils Beat were my two major flops that shouldn't have happened :(

Why did radio not cling to them :(

Did Melee have TV Airplay, i was away at the time so i cant remember

Sandi though flopped basically because she was Sandi Thom, radio 1 for instance just like Ashlee Simpson probably were too embarrased to support her.

Alphabeat - Boyfriend - That was a summer smash in the making! OK it made #15 but it should have been #1!

Madonna - Miles Away - I still don't understand this

Will Young - Grace - I don't understand this either.

Avenue - Last Goodbye - A top 10 hit in the making. Obviously Take That and Boyzone are the cooler boybands.

Revelations - It's You - The song that we should have sent to Belgrade. Didnt this make the 100s in the chart?

One Republic - Mercy - Suffered to some idotic stations playing "Apogloise"

Annie - I know ur girlfriend hates me - If sung by Girls Aloud, this would have been a #1. By Annie - flop

Duffy - Rain On Your Parade - Way better than "Mercy" and the puke inducing "Warwick Avenue"

I can safely say Mariah deserved her flops. She's not the singer she was back in the 90s. She's like nearly 40 and dresses like a trollope! Surely she needs to mature, not try and be "cool".

Melee - Built To Last  Whoever said that, I completely agree, its like the sort of song they play at the end of Big Brother or something. Great song!
Alanis Morissette - Underneath

Alanis Morissette - In Praise Of The Vulnerable Man

Unfortunately Not As We same :(

Beautiful song

I echo all the people saying Brandy, Solange, Mariah, Estelle, Gabriella Cilmi, Janet Jackson, Alicia Keys, Sandi Thom, Christian Falk/Robyn, Wideboys, Michelle Williams etc.

Sara Bareilles with 'Bottle It Up' should have at least been to Sara Bareilles what 'Save The Lies' was for Gabriella Cilmi. It was by no means a bad song and deserved to at least make the top 75/low top 40.
