I know THE MIGHTY BLOC aren't exactly one of BJ's favourite bands, but most people who don't like them have probably only heard the singles (with the exception of Jonjo, who downloaded an album and still didn't like them :arrr:). There are a lot of songs on the albums which could do fantastically! (imo)

Maybe we'll see quite soon...

I downloaded their albums and listened to them but nothing really sunk in, I'm kinda useless like that. :( I think "One Month Off" is one of their best singles - I might prefer it to "Flux" now. :o (which is too cheap to enter anyway) Maybe you should enter one of your other favourites to make me pay attention to it more! :lol:

Unlikely! :lol: I like the Libertines and Bloc Party but I don't think I'll ever be obsessed with either of them apart from the occasional song. They're both quite decent though, so it'll be good to seem either of them sent. ^_^

The only song from BP that is cheap is Flux, yes. But others are too far from calling like that :lol:

I can't say I've looked much into the rest of Bloc Party's stuff...they don't interest me much

 

Thanks for being the only person not to predict my entry which got its first official airplay on Radio 1 late last night & now has a penciled in release date of May 31st will do better than IMHO a so so B-side which was not as good as the A-side Obsessions; nor the other two new leaked tracks from this fantastic young Welsh talent Seventeen & I Am Not A Robot will finish better than the bottom 3 & three predictions have it as a wooden spoon finish which even I'm shocked about and I hope if it comes true will look a ridiculous result by the end of the year that will reflect very badly on Buzzjack IMHO.

Mowgli's Road is MILES better than The Shampain Sleeper imo, which is really quite good but only in demo stage at this point I think (?). Sorry. Does not have the oompf or mass appeal of Mowgli's Road, Obsessions, or Seventeen :( For me at least. And this is coming from someone who's been in love with her for quite sometime now.

 

I'd still like to see it do well though.
