May 1, 200916 yr Does it matter if it don't go top 10 because if they remain at 11 on sunday then they'll have 21 top 11 hits now i know its not the same as top 10 but its still good in a way. However if it slides then we are doomed  I agree. 21 top 11 hits means something; 21 top 12 hits on the other hand is pointless. Is Steve Angello still top 40..... (Hoping it won't be) Yep, he's climbed up 2 places, overtaking Morrissey and Alesha Dixon.
May 1, 200916 yr Morrissey will easily be out the top 40 by Sunday, he's just hanging in there right now - your prediction looks like the only one that'll be close!! Not that I'll be the closest one to the final position, I'm the only one who thought it will not be Top 40. :D Edited May 1, 200916 yr by FMbassador11
May 1, 200916 yr Not that I'll be the closest one to the final position, I'm the only one who thought it will not be Top 40. :D You will easily be the closest to the final position - and the only person that scores any points from his entry. I reckon Morrissey will end up between #50-55 - you won't be far away at all.
May 1, 200916 yr Yep, he's climbed up 2 places, overtaking Morrissey and Alesha Dixon. Oh :( I really hoped Angello & Morrisey would go for 2 great songs like Morrison and Kings Of Leon :(
May 1, 200916 yr Oh :( I really hoped Angello & Morrisey would go for 2 great songs like Morrison and Kings Of Leon :( James Morrison's PDSTR is now down to at least #43 - #41 is SOF by KOL; #42 is Prodigy's "The Omen".
May 1, 200916 yr Poor 'Please Don't Stop the Rain' :( It really deserved to be a BIG hit! :( I blame 'Broken Strings' <_<
May 1, 200916 yr Poor 'Please Don't Stop the Rain' :( It really deserved to be a BIG hit! :( I blame 'Broken Strings' <_< Yes but it did give him another top 40 hit and it would've been gone even sooner if it weren't for a strange rise on itunes to help it. Again though it did give him another top 40 and if you think of it not many artists can have 3 songs off an album that go top 40 thesedays so i consider him very lucky, i do agree that it deserves more though :D
May 1, 200916 yr Author Poor 'Please Don't Stop the Rain' :( It really deserved to be a BIG hit! :( The track might just nip back inside the top 40 by Sunday at #40, pushing Morrissey out
May 1, 200916 yr Wow, awesome to see Heaven and Hell's album in the Top-20. If they had released it under the moniker of Black Sabbath (which they would have been entitled to do, seeing as this line-up recorded under that moniker before), I'm quite certain they would have broke the Top-10.

If they had released it under the moniker of Black Sabbath (which they would have been entitled to do, seeing as this line-up recorded under that moniker before), I'm quite certain they would have broke the Top-10. But Heaven and Hell (not the band) was a popular album by Black Sabbath so I think that sums up why it's at Top 20. ^_^
May 1, 200916 yr Really pleased on the albums front, out of control back top 40 and the 2nd version of dolldomination top 10 (muchly deserved)
May 1, 200916 yr I suspect KoL will overtake Morrissey and get a 34th week, but they'll be out just short of the 35 milestone. Also Prodigy will be 41, continuing their very strange run. 21-26-31-36-41-
May 1, 200916 yr It's a real shame that Girls Aloud will be breaking their top 10 streak, missing it by just one place. :(
May 1, 200916 yr It's a real shame that Girls Aloud will be breaking their top 10 streak, missing it by just one place. :( Nah it would be more of a shame imo landing nowhere AS NEAR the top 10, even with their incredible sized fanbase, the changed nature of the chart by download/death of physical meant the breaking of the top 10 run would becoming sooner rather than later - as already been said this scenario is the gentlest let down 'cos the actual sales of the single provide a continuation of the level of success. And its not like its a lead single AND significantly the album has sold well (especially relatively) - so the expectation is lower imo. Now, a real shame i would say would be an act with ALL their first 13 singles going top 6 (for reference in the nature of 80s/early90s charts) then the 14th only reaches 16 !!! ( a LEAD single to make matters worse), then "everyone" gleefully LTAO at the flop saying how "the bubble had burst" and the act was F-I-N-S-H-E-D :cheer: :yahoo:  - and this act just happens to be 'your' teenage idol. http://s16.rimg.info/ed1a2bdc716d7d9b5a16f3a6a12a3728.gif

Intrigued! Re the GA vinyl, that pisses me off so much. I had my online order cancelled and I've looked in 5 bloody HMVs (only 2 which sold vinyl) and none have it. Yet bloody scunthorpe HMV or some arse end of nowhere place probably has a stack gathering dust. All this and less than half sold. Ok, the sales prob won't get them to #10 even if they all sold but there's blatantly more demand than stock as most of the GA fans on here couldn't get one, if only 2k had been produced or something they could've scraped it! that and i can't get into my itunes to download the last two mixes so all i have is the CD and Bimbo edit :( I'm sad to see the 2nd last great run end (obviously ignoring the St Trinian's can of worms) GaGa continues her 1-2-3-4-5 descent, bet sales will still stay high though, its doing cracking and sales in general in the top5 are great compared to the last few years :) Edited May 2, 200916 yr by spicefunk
May 2, 200916 yr A question guys: Just ordered 4 albums from HMV but it'll be sent to Hungary and paid with a Hungarian credit card. Will these albums still count towards the UK chart or not?
