Really enjoyed the episode in general though! even if I didn't expect when this was announced to be watching this while recovering from a surgery! Khianna bodied this ep and Siam, Brigiding and Arizona were great too. I thought it was kinda notable that all of the Western queens perceived the pageant as a comedy challenge with mostly questionable results. Loved how honest while respectful Maxie was as a judge. Straight up saying she just didn't like some things. Also thought it was unexpected and respectful of Jimbo to have learned some Tagalog phrases before coming to the panel here. Unlike Alyssa Edwards at DRES clearly unable to speak or understand a single word of Spanish despite coming from Texas! I guess the runway prompt was maybe poorly explained because it was meant to be show YOUR PERSONAL heritage as an asian person, but most of the internationals perceived it as 'show something about your original season's country'. Main characters after this ep seem to be Khianna, Brigiding, Arizona and Yuhua. The last 2 are having such great commentary!

So now that it's started airing I can say about Sum Ting that (which is a shame because I was liking her portrayal up to the post judging moments) she is known for being a diva on the local scene in the sense of stuff like unpleasant/demanding to venue staff & very me me me so. Unfortunately this behaviour didn't surprise me at all. I think she's improved her body and her fashion looks on this season. Taste level and storytelling still kind of questionable which is unfortunate when she's against powerhouses like Brigiding and Khianna. Ngl but nearly all the internationals are giving early out.

I like Piche but I feel like as a non French I'm not getting the references. Also at times she comes off a little cocky. I really liked the workroom chats in the makeover episode though. Tbh, I also really like Moon but she isn't bringing it like I thought she would. She and Magnetica were both slightly disappointing to me whereas I really didn't expect people like Misty and Kam to be so solid. I would be surprised if Mami isn't the winner now but Elips is a dark horse for sure!

I really hope they do some good parodies this time and I pray for a Snatch Game that isn't lazy character choices like Elvis Presley! Give me Angie Bowie, Cat Deeley or Alison Hammond!

I do think its striking she doesnt seem to have any friends outside of twitter. She never posts any nice event pictures or is seen in the papers doing things. The only celebrities she seems to count as friends are politicians.

Rowling today said on her Twitter that 'anyone born with the capacity to grow eggs is a woman from birth'. Obviously people are clowning on her with bird memes but it's like she doesn't even realize that she herself is literally erasing GIRLS by saying something like that (!) I seriously do believe she isn't well and isn't in touch with reality. The woman who became famous 20 years ago would've had more gumption than to say something like that.

I truly hope that more people are able to escape Gaza. I don't believe they will be able to stay but Israel should at least give them the dignity to become refugees rather than massacre them man woman and child. Just disgusting. If there's a hell that's where they're going people that did such things.

I'm trying to think of something more impactful or summer-feeling than Blessings (Harris/Douglas) for me. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I kinda lived that she went home though... I didn't think Mami would dare elim her for a girl who wasn't on her season, but Kam made a good reasoning for it AND it was getting rid of competition!
