October 21, 200916 yr Whitney is catching up in the singles, so she'll probably be #3 or #4 at the end of the week.
October 21, 200916 yr Good sales for Alex today in the albums chart. Yeah, looking at about 135-145k now.
October 21, 200916 yr FFTL definitely holding up more than BB (surprised at that, thought it would be more front-loaded) - if FFTL sold the same proportions as BB did last week, it'd currently be on 171.1k, but at 175.9k is exceeding that by 4.8k (daily sales 12% higher).
October 21, 200916 yr Cheryl is still selling well because there's a lot of hype with her being the fastest seller of the year so far. That will have helped her massively. She is getting heavy airplay too, i heard it 3 times yesterday on the same radio station. If there is a perfect way to cook up a recipe, cheryl had all the ingredients together.
