'Ego' is brilliant though. It's definately this era's 'Up'...

Ego was the best choice to save wordshaker, its like the old saturdays.

It is impossible to tell if an album is a flop based on week two sales.

Uh no, they are not flopping. Maybe in today's midweek but not overall. It can't be dropping that much because it's a bad album because it isn't, seems like more of a bizzare sales pattern than a flop I'd say. The album obviously does have the ability to comeback, it's flawless and up-to-standard with their debut. Likewise with "Ego" which's video is being shot in a few days :D Epic song, epic video, epic 2nd single release and the album will be fine.

But atm Wordshaker is flopping, even worse than Chasing Lights as Chasing lights had 10k on Wordshaker after first week sales.

 

But I am confident Wordshaker can be saved like Chasing Lights was.

it's weird that in the US they made sooo much fuss about Britney selling 250.000 downloads of her new single '3'... ^_^

While Cheryl Cole is about to reach that number in the UK which has 5 time less population than the US !!!!! :o

Kylie's CGYOMH sold 306k in its first week, so it's incredible to think Cheryl's not going to be far off that this week. :o

Its going to be interesting to see how cheryls 2nd single performs with no xfactor promo incomparison to this. Obviously the fact its a 2nd single makes a difference but it should still be expected to do pretty well.

Back then things like that didn't have as much impact on single sales, in the download era when people have instant access to a track at the click of a mouse and they can obtain it instantly, it does.

ego is going to be realesed i think december 14 which is when sales are so wordshaker will have big increase in sales

Saturdays are suffering what I call a Sweet Escape Run (gwen)...suffering from what people consider a bad lead single but with the definite opportunity to rise with better singles. I can see the appeal of the group and they can definitely pull off something better than "Forever is Over" which is their worst single so far.

And "Get Sexy" IS better than "Forever Is Over"...shame the Sugababes went insane.

has cheryl got a GMTV performance this week, that sometimes boost sales (not taht she needs it) sales are really high, i am really shocked! had she ended the week on 175k i would have been amazed!
