Together Again sold way more than those from memory - it was a long runner when sales were at their peak in the late 90s. It is her best song imo, so pleased about that.

Yep, Polyhex has it down as having a 10 week run in the top ten - and it was during the massive christmas period in 1997 so I'd imagine it will have cleared 750K if not more.

LOVE 'Playing With Fire'. So catchy, especially love Tulisa's parts. :kink:
Still love this.. When is playing with fire officially released ?

Tomorrow :)

With a novel world-music-tinged indie-rock sound drawing from reggae, classical, new wave and worldbeat, New York City's Vampire Weekend wowed audiences, bloggers, and critics long before even signing to the XL label and releasing their debut in 2008. Formed at Columbia University, the eclectic rock quartet tie together their diverse influences with a keen pop sensibility; it is a combination that has drawn comparisons with Paul Simon and the Talking Heads, and earned heavy praise from head Head David Byrne himself. While the image of trust-funders pairing African beats with songs about upper-class affectations and fripperies on songs like "Oxford Comma" sparked a minor indie-world controversy, the hubbub merely fuelled the buzz for the outfit's rave-reviewed self-titled debut. - HMV

Album Discussion Here

Good tune from Vampire Weekend who I think is one of the group that have come out in the past 5 years. Also their album has a good chance to hit #1 on the US album chart next week.

The Sats Wordshaker a #58. Bleurgh.

To be fair i think thats a HUGE achievement especially after the way the album bombed in the first few weeks and showed little signs of recovery after being reduced to £5 in most places.

The U.K-based teen pop outfit the Saturdays formed in 2007 under the auspices of Polydor's Fascination Records. The five-piece girl group sports an accessible, melodic electro-pop sound tailored for pop radio, not to mention eye-catching good looks. In 2008 their debut single, "If This Is Love," hit number eight on the U.K. charts, only to be surpassed by "Up," which made it to number five, and "Issues" which reached number four. Their full-length studio album, CHASING LIGHTS, appeared in late 2008, followed soon after by a cover of the Depeche Mode synth-pop classic, "Just Can't Get Enough." With Spice Girls-inspired colour-coordinated outfits and distinct musical personalities, the Saturdays instantly captured the attention of the U.K. media, appearing on several television shows including the drama HOLLYOAKS LATER and the children's show ROSS LEE'S GHOULIES.
